Power transformer: definition, capacity, voltage ratio, main parts, accessories, cooling system, meter and gauges, function and breather and conservator tank, tap changer, function and tap position, purpose of transformer oil, dielectric strength 0 foil, protection of a transformer. 3- Circuit breaker an isolator; definitions, difference between circuit breaker and isolator, types of circuit breakers according to quenching media, types of circuit breaker according to operating mechanism, gases and oil used in circuit breakers, function and advantages of oil and gas. 4.
