PROJECTS ROLE OF GOVERNMENT PROJECT DESCRIPTION

1. Electronic One-Time ASSIGNMENT 2


Government as an Income The eONETT System is a web-

of palay are low. NFA buys palay
from individual farmer/ farmer
organizations at the government
support price of P19.00/kg.
3. Peso Carmona, Government as Employer The Public Employment
Cavite Service Office or PESO is a non-fee
charging multi-employment
service facility or entity
established or accredited
pursuant to Republic Act No. 8759
otherwise known as the PESO Act
of 1999. To provide, promote and
facilitate employment services to
job seekers, employers and
stakeholders through capacity
development and linkage with
government and non-government
entities.

4. Metro Manila Government as Investor The Metro Manila Skyway


Skyway Stage 3 Stage 3 Project (MMSS3) is an
(MMSS3) elevated expressway from
Buendia, Makati City to the North
Luzon Expressway in Balintawak,
Quezon City with a length of
about 18.83kilometers. 2x3 lanes

5. Pondo sa Government as Borrower This DTI program, which

other alternative sources of loans
and funding for entrepreneurs,

Philippines can borrow anywhere
from P5,000 up to P200,000 –
enough to get them started on a
small business – from the DTI with
a low-interest rate of 2.5% per
month. On top of this, P3 also
provides business owners with
extra financial knowledge for their
own benefit.
