What is employee development? Is it really important to have a successful


company? Why do the company even waste time to conduct this program?

Employee development main goal is to help employees understand their


strengths, weaknesses, interests, skills and make them realize how new jobs and
high-level job responsibilities are available to them to meet their personal growth
needs. This kind of program is a big help not only to an individual or employee but
also to the business because I believe that employees are the backbone of the
company and without them the whole organization will be nothing. Furthermore,
employees are the one who make the business successful and if they are not
competitive enough, there are possibilities that the company will not reach it' goals.
So, by means of developing characteristics and behavior they will have courage or
confidence to try, do more, improve, be the best they are and be a better version of
themselves.

Employee development can make the business successful as well as the


employee because the more they become eager to learn and explore, the more the
business will develop a good strategy for their company to grow, stable and reach
the goals they want.
