the impact of the external environment and remain yourself, you

this is not always enough for the arrangement of a witching
environment: sometimes it is important to set the vector of
movement and transform the energies present.

Principles of construction of ritual figures

For Satanism, the orientation of the figure to the north is most


characteristic. In many cultures, it is this direction that is associated with
Evil and its penetration into the human world. A different arrangement is
possible if we are talking about referring to entities whose influence is
associated with a particular side of the world. Movement in the space of the
ritual is often carried out against the course of the sun, which reflects the
foreignness of the dark being and allows one to merge into the flow of the
Force.

The process of creating a figure consists of two stages - drawing


and activating. The outline drawn represents the material plane
and the chthonic element. It is drawn with chalk or charcoal, cut

"Satanas Satan Ra. Shed Satanaone"- an example of a mantric


formula for addressing the Devil in his original manifestation. Its
basis is the name of Satan. The phonetic construction of the spell
implies activity and openness. It brings one closer to the spiritual
source and changes the perception in accordance with it. These
properties make the formula universal. It is used both to prepare
for the ritual, and as a tool for the realization of power at the
climax of the action.

After gaining contact with Darkness, it is necessary to find means


for its embodiment. Mantric spells are also often used for this. In
this case, they are functional and represent a synthesis of the
meditative formula and the target spell. This is a useful ritual tool

During meditation, mantric spells induce a trance state and direct


a person into Darkness. With their intended use, the movement of
energy sets the practitioner, and the formula serves as a means
and tool subject to his will. The adept must feel the power,
become a conduit operating with the energies, while he should
not be completely immersed in the flow of the spell.

Functional formulas indicate the essence or aspect of Darkness


and describe what needs to be realized. Among other things, they
are used to consecrate a place or a ritual instrument, purify, curse.

During the consecration of a ritual item, sometimes it is enough to


indicate in the spell the aspect to which it is intended. In particular,
we are talking about Darkness, the Devil, Evil. If the object is charged
for specific purposes, they should be reflected briefly and succinctly.
The mantric spell should contain words that make it clear what the
instrument should become and what it should bring. This also
applies to the consecration of a ritual figure - it is required to indicate
what it should represent and what powers it should belong to.

used when most of the ritual instruments are dedicated to the
Dark Force. The formula is most effective if you read it quietly,
humming, almost whispering the words. The sound of the spell
helps to conduct energies and direct them to a certain area.

affects a person, and for spiritual work in this direction when
referring to the essences of a fiery nature. The manner of reading
varies depending on the mood of the ritual. The main feature of
the formula is rhythm.

When it comes to directing summoned entities to an object or


area, when constructing a mantric spell, one should take into
account the descriptions of spirits and their effects. The object of
influence is omitted or mentioned only by name. In contrast to
curses and incantations, in mantric spells, the indication of the
flow of power, and not the result of its influence, comes first.

entities that lead a person away from the light, tempt his soul. It
contains an indication of their essence and phonetically reflects

otherworldly beings. Hungry spirits feed on the evanescence of
smells and the power invested in the enchanted composition.
Objects or ritual figures sprinkled with witchcraft oil acquire
properties that do not belong to the human kingdom, but to the
abode of shadows and darkness. The mundane is transformed into
the sacred, begins life in a different capacity, becomes alien to the
light and marked by Darkness.

Oil can have a strong influence on the practice. Applied to the


body and absorbed into the skin, it draws the human being into a
stream of foreign and pernicious forces. The inhaled aroma affects
the mind, changing the perception and opening to the inner eye

Spirit of Herbs

The properties of an oil depend on its composition. The herbs


selected for it have strength and character. Their essence is not a
dead fragment of the world, but a living manifestation of the spirit of
Darkness, awakened by the will of the servant and his sorcery.

intention of the adept sets them apart from the crowd of others.

bought. In this case, the servant of the Devil takes from the light to the
dark, from the world for war. He must remember his intention, about
what and why he buys. It is better to give money without bargaining
and take the herbs with your left hand.

The storage of oil ingredients must be handled with care. They are
not designed to be spices or objects of trade. They have one
purpose: to give their essence and absorb the spirit of the Devil.
Gathered for the Night, they must not see the light of day.
Designed for Darkness, they should not come into contact with

It should be remembered that herbs containing particles of the


devilish spirit are alien to the human world and harmful to it. They

Oil for Sabbath

Based on knowledge and own experience, each practitioner can


choose the most suitable components for his work on his own.
Here is a recipe for witch oil that might serve as an example:

• 1 part Aconite napellus root;


• 1/2 of Paris quadrifolia berries;
• 1/2 of Hyoscyamus niger berries;
• 1/2 of the leaves and stems of Euphorbia;
• 1/4 of Potentilla reptans root;
• 1 part herb Cicuta virosa;
• 1 part Populus nigra leaves;

• 1 part herb Artemisia vulgaris;


• 1/2 of Helleborus niger root;
• 1/10 of soot.

To make the oil, choose the night most suitable for the action, and
mix all its components. The resulting composition is placed in a
vessel, physically and ritually cleansed, and then poured with
alcohol, mustard or grape oil in such a way that the liquid slightly
covers it.

To fill the oil with diabolical emanations, the vessel with it is placed
open on the work surface. The latter is an altar or pentacle. To
charge the composition it is necessary to open the gates of the
Dark Spirit. First, this happens in the soul of the adept with a
sincere appeal to Satan, then at the place of the ceremony by
lighting black and red candles on both sides of the pentacle.

A word spoken from the heart and a soul striving into Darkness will turn the gaze of the

The metaphysical boundary is not a place, not a time, but a
plane of contact between two different phenomena, positions
or forces. It can be understood as a principle, environment
or state. It can be internal and external, exists independently of a
person or is created in the process of a ritual.

The border means the separation of one from the other, but also
provides a chance for interpenetration or transition. It is capable of

The ability to pass a certain spiritual potential through oneself,


modifying it, is regularly resorted to on the path to the Devil and
in the accompanying ritual practice.

Border as a principle

There are many boundary phenomena used or accounted for in


witchcraft. Each of them contains a potential opportunity to enter
a qualitatively different state, a chance for a collision with the
Other side. Examples of such transition points are active lunar
phases, twilight, crossroads, cemeteries, bridges, fogs, trance
states. Despite the different nature and form, they all represent a
reflection of one principle. We are talking about the principle of
boundary, which implies the existence of a plane of intersection of
the worlds of Force and man and the similarity of all threshold
phenomena. Since these phenomena are related, they are
interconnected and are able to reinforce each other. For example,
at dusk, the otherworldly presence in cemeteries becomes more
noticeable, and at full moon it is easier to enter an altered state of
consciousness.

Another consequence of belonging to a single principle is that all


boundary phenomena have common properties. The main one
- duality, that is, the presence between two different principles. In
a metaphysical sense, the threshold is not a complete, formed
structure - it is the very emptiness of the gap between something
one and something else. This ambivalence makes him flexible and
open to influences. There is usually tension and distortion at the
site of the threshold. The tension between the two poles is hardly
noticeable: there is a thickening of the atmosphere, a certain
rarefaction of the air, an internal concentration of forces.

but by the interpenetration of two phenomena, which gives rise to


a mixture of energies and a change in perception. Vivid examples
are disorientation, dizziness in altered states of consciousness,
optical illusion at dusk, when daylight is absorbed by night
darkness and visible forms are refracted.

The properties of boundary phenomena are reproduced and used


in ritual practice to ensure contact with the Force, to cross an
already existing boundary, or to create a gate area in a ritual.

Border as environment

The boundary can be thought of as a medium. With this approach,


it is often represented as a space inhabited by entities that live
between different layers of being. Then each step in the border
area appears as a new world with a new owner, and each
changeable property of the threshold is seen as its guardian.

Essences between the worlds personify the qualities of the


borders. They are not anthropomorphic, therefore they should not
be perceived as beings with a mind and desires close to the
layman. The human desire to appease them and buy the right of
way is understandable. But a metaphysical bribe will not help to
join the Other Being.

Border spirits are often portrayed as predators. If the passing


threshold is unable to determine the purpose or by its nature does
not correspond to the reality of these entities, then the latter
absorb its power. This property does not represent hunger in the
human sense, nor is it a manifestation of the desire to devour. It

due to the peculiarities of the border itself, which takes on the


qualities and energy of what surrounds it. Living in a shaky gap
between here and there, between the revealed and the hidden,
such spirits strive to acquire the form and completeness
characteristic of those on the other side of them, but they never
achieve this.

The guardians of the borders ensure the movement of force through


the intermediate space in one direction or another. They serve as a kind
of filter, allowing only those who are similar to them to pass through.
For example, in order for a person to be able to internally touch the
essence of the deceased, his spiritual component must cross a certain
line separating the physical world from the afterlife. To do this, it is
necessary to change the state and perception in such a way as to find
within oneself an affinity with the necroworld, otherwise the very
reaching of the border becomes difficult. A practitioner, driven by selfish
desires and having no resemblance to the Force to which he addresses,
often becomes food and a receptacle for the inhabitants of the borders
at the boundary of worlds. They adopt some of his features and
introduce into his nature the qualities inherent in the threshold lying on
the other side.

Border as a state

Different degrees of manifestation of the Dark Force can be


perceived as different worlds separated from each other by borders.
In this sense, the latter are understood as states reflecting the levels
of approach to Darkness.

Such ideas are conditional and come from the inability of a person to
realize something complex in its entirety. He mentally divides the
indivisible and endless Darkness into areas of its influence.
