Hi, classmate!

What we will talk about today is school educational system.

This is a bit of a controversial topic because in my networking career there are many who reacts.

Before, I do this in my trainings, but I will do this in the vlog right now.

First, let’s trace because I have some questions.

My first question, is our school educational system effective?

Second, are we still learning good things from our school educational system?

Do we need to learn all the subjects being taught?

I’ll walk you through from when school began, what the purpose of school is, what is waiting for you
after you graduate from school.

Those are what we will talk about here so get yourself ready.

Prepare food, popcorn, or liquor because this is a bit of a long topic.

First, we don’t even question if our school educational system is good because we don’t have any
choice.

When we were young, we were already enrolled by our parents.

Studying was not really our choice but our parents’.

When we were sent to school, the question is, what if I tell you the major reason of a school is not to
create a successful person.

The major reason of a school is to create skilled workers.

Let’s go back to ancient times.

During the agricultural age, the time when people only knew planting and raising animals, that’s where
the life of the people revolved around.

When the industrial age started to boom where many factories popped out, the people’s source of
income became not just planting and raising animals but also the factories.

The problem of the businessmen is, they said, “our factories are great, our machines are nice but there
are only a few who know how to operate. Where do we look for people who know how to operate?”

Knowing businessmen, this is the difference between a businessman’s point of view and ordinary
people.

And ordinary person, the moment they have the problem, it ends there.

“Oh, there is a problem. Okay.” Done.

Businessmen or successful people, the moment they have a problem, they always of the solution.
“What solution do we have?”

Let me repeat, what is the problem?

There are factories already, the problem is who can operate them.

So, one of the businessmen thought, “what if we create a supplier of skilled workers? If we have
suppliers for the raw materials of the products we sell, for example chocolate, you have raw materials
like cacao, it’s the same, what if we have a supply of skilled workers.”

That is what started the businessmen to convince the farmers’ children.

They said, “farmers, do you want us to teach your children to be skilled workers, that they will have jobs
where they don’t need to plant or get exposed to the sun? they will wear good uniforms, in
airconditioned rooms, with benefits like car and retirement benefits. You don’t have to think about
anything until you grow old.”

They have a very nice offer. It is true.

Back in the 1930s and 1940s, employee benefits are very good because, let me repeat, supply and
demand.

Economy 101

Let’s take a stone. A stone is cheap. Why? Because there is a huge supply.

A diamond is expensive because there is little supply.

Before, since there are few employees, benefits were very good.

Going back to school educational system.

The businessmen were able to convince the farmers to have them send their children to school.

They said, “you will send your children to school and after they graduate, they will automatically have
jobs, they will have a very agreeable work and even when they get old, they can still send their children
to school, they have nothing else to think about, and after they retire, they still have benefits.”

Very lucrative offer, right?

The farmer asked, “Wait. If you are going to get our children and teach them in school, what time will
you get them?”

The businessmen said, “Morning and afternoon, we will return them at night, and you take care of the
rest.”

That’s when the farmers reacted.

“Wait, that is not possible. We need our children in the farm. Who will help us plant, harvest if you will
get them?”

Therefore, they were not able to convince the farmers.

But knowing businessmen, they don’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

They are always thinking of a way.

One of the businessmen thought of a way.

He said, “what if we start the school year in June?”

“Why June?”

“Because June is rainy season.”

They notice that during rainy season, the farmers don’t have anything to do.

They are just inside their houses.

They are just waiting for what will happen to their crops.

Most of the time, it’s like that.

In short, that was when they were able to convince the farmers to send their children to school because
there is nothing to do.

Take note, until now, when is the start of the school year?

It didn’t change.

Why school starts in June.

Second, in school we were taught.

There are so many identical things in and out of school.

What are they?

You need to wear ID.

When you are in school, you need an ID.

When you’re working, you need an ID.

You need uniform in school. {wara man na uniform ang UP XD}

You need uniform in work. {wara man na uniform sa call center XD}

The teacher is always right in the school. {talaga ba?}

The boss is always right in the workplace. {kaya ngani pwede mag file na complaint against sa boss}

If you can notice, there are a lot of similarities because it is designed that way.

The school is designed to create skilled workers not to create thinking individuals.

Let me repeat.
The school’s main purpose is to supply the needs of the industrial age way back.

This is my point.

There are so many things taught in school that are total wastes of time, that we won’t really use, just
like history.

In today’s time, history doesn’t need to be taught because it is easy to research on the Internet.

We waste a lot of time memorizing that information, when this person was born, when this person died,
what is the anniversary of the bombing in Hiroshima, Japan, when Martial Law started.

There are many things like that, but the question is, when did you use Pluto in your life? Neptune?
Jupiter?

We have never used them in our lives, but we memorize them.

What I’m trying to say is, there are so many things that we could have learned which are more relevant
in today’s time, we can use more in the present like vlogging (YouTube), Facebook marketing.

How you could monetize your tiktok, how you can earn money online.

There are so many things we can study.

Photo and video editing.

There are so many sources of income right now.

But again, this is what I’m pointing out.

After we graduate, we are programmed that our lives would be better, but this is what I will add.

Okay, your mind was set, “Study well for 16 years.”

You studied well, you memorized all the subjects, understood, and passed them, your parents paid for a
high tuition fee, you did all the projects.

Even if you couldn’t understand what was being taught in school, you forced yourself to understand.

Even though you are sluggish to sit down, you still force yourself to because you must finish.

This is my main point.

After you graduate, the question is, “Do you have a job?”

This is the worst.

If you really want to become rich, classmate, number one, don’t ever believe that education is only
inside the school.

Always remember, education is nonstop. Education does not start and end in school.

Learning starts when you were born and ends when you disappear from Earth.

Meaning there is no time frame.

We can’t be confined in one corner, in a box building and education is only there because we learn even
if we are outside the school.

After graduation, I’ll be connecting them, the reason why I said traditional education is not designed for
us to become rich.

It is designed so you get hooked continuously, and you work for life.

After graduation, what will you do?

Look for a job.

Did you know that salary from work, it is computed that you will not get paid by too much or too little?

Why?

If they pay you too much, you will be able to save.

If you can save, you will leave your job.

You will not get paid too little, because if they pay you too little, you will get mad and leave your job.

They will only pay you with just the right amount for you.

That’s the reason.

If you notice employee, on the first, second, third, fourth, fifth day, they are happy.

On the sixth, seventh, eight, ninth, tenth day, they are a little sad.

On the eleventh, twelfth day, they are a little sadder.

On the thirteenth, fourteenth day, they are very sad.

On the fifteenth day, they will be very happy again because it’s payday.

After that, sixteenth, seventeenth, eighteenth, nineteenth, twentieth day, they are still happy.

On the twenty first, twenty second, twenty third, twenty fourth, twenty fifth day, they are a little sad.

On the twenty sixth, twenty seventh, twenty eighth, twenty nineth day, they are very sad.

On the thirtieth day, they are happy again.

I just attended a seminar about finances, and it was a pleasure because one of the owners of Rustan’s
was with me in the seminar.

It somehow made me proud that he was in the seminar with me.

This is my point.

Honestly, education taught to the rich is different than education taught to the average person.

Before I proceed there or I’ll get lost again, let’s talk about work.

Work is designed for you to get hooked to the point that you will not leave.
Let me give you an example.

First, the salary is just enough.

Second, it will drain your energy.

How many hours will you work?

Eight hours but actually, it’s not eight hours because you need to sleep, travel, eat.

Compute all that and you are already spending more than twenty hours just for your one work.

It’s not true that work is only 8 hours because you have preparation.

You need to sleep.

If you consume twenty hours to work and you have four hours remaining, where will you spend those
four hours?

Watch TV, gossip, personal life.

In short, you fully consume the twenty-four hours.

Now the question, how will you find other opportunities if you are out of time?

It was on purpose that our time to work is pushed to the limit so you can’t find other sources of income.

You should learn to push yourself to go out of your comfort zone.

Because if you don’t go out of your comfort zone, you will get comfortable and when you get
comfortable, there is no growth.

If you notice the people before they got work, they have big dreams.

When they started working, [they dreamed of] a big house, many cars, travel to different countries.

As time passes, they only dream of a good house even if it’s rented, good enough food, even if there is
no car.

And as even more time passes, what is their dream?

“Child, I hope you graduate because that is my greatest dream.”

In short, we were programmed.

The major reason if you will get rich or not depends on who influenced you, what was programmed to
you.

The good thing about this video is, you get a “side B”.

We are all about side A.

We only see one side of life.

Right now, you are having different options because that was also the reason why I was able to reach
what I reached.

I had many principles before that I thought were right but the moment I was exposed to different
[experiences], I thought “Oh, so this is good too. So, this is correct.”

Let me give you an example of what I was taught before.

Papa passed by so I remembered it suddenly.

Wait. I’ll let him leave first.

Okay. He’s gone.

My dad taught me before, I should know how to do wash and iron clothes.

I should know how to cook.

I should know how to do all the house chores because it would be embarrassing to my future spouse.

If I go to my wife’s house, I’m there and I don’t know how to do laundry or cook, it’s embarrassing.

I somehow know the basic.

I know how to fry food, cook, do the laundry, I know how to do all the chores.

But now I understand that you don’t need to learn everything because if you are earning big, you could
always hire a cook.

Here in the house, how many helpers do I have? Eight.

I don’t do the laundry, I don’t cook, I don’t clean but it’s still okay.

When I face my in-laws, my wife’s parents, I’m sure it’s not embarrassing if I don’t know how to cook.

I have many people who can do it.

I have a lot to spend for what to cook.

We have our own mind setting.

Different principles, different mindsets, depends on what level of a person you are.

Just like earlier, when I attended the seminar, they talked about stocks.

They are based in America, and they are planning to open here in the Philippines.

Earlier, what the speaker said was quite simple.

He said, “everything revolves around money.”

That’s when I realized, “that sounds about right.”

I only hear “money is not important” from poor people.

I don’t know anyone with a lot of money that says, “money is not important”.
All the people who say “money is not important” don’t have money.

My pro tip, get exposed.

Get exposed to different programming, different kinds of people, different levels of people for you to
better understand, “this is also good, this is also possible”, so have courage.

What is pitiful about others, if you want to succeed, get rich, and you are surrounded by people who
don’t want to get rich, you think you are wrong.

If you tell them your principles, what you want to happen, you feel like an outcast because your circle
has different beliefs and what was wrong is that you should have a circle where you share the same
interest.

It’s simple, if you want to get rich, look for people who also want to get rich.

One thing I’m sure of, classmate, education alone will never be enough for you to be successful.

There are those who ask me, if I will send my child to school when she’s old enough.

First, I will prefer it if she has a personal tutor, but I will still send her to the best school.

Why?

What I’m after, which the rich do, they enroll their children to the best schools not because of what is
being taught but because of connections.

Because the people who will study there are also children of the rich.

Children of rich families will become friends.

When they grow up, they will still be friends, they will also set up their own businesses, they will rise
even more.

There are different purposes.

For me, at least you were able to get a different side of principle in life.

We were studied quite well, why there is school, why your job is designed to consume your time.

A job is designed so you don’t get rich, so you get hooked and not leave.

For me, if you really want to be successful in life, get exposed to different things because we are all
designed to achieve what we want.

We just need courage and of course and ally.
