Personal statement

I write to affirm my highest interest in pursuing Logistics and Supply Chain Management at your highly
reputable University.

In as much, I am a recent graduate who pursued a BSc. Procurement and logistics from the GHANA
COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, I manage to accrue 9 years of working experience with
BUVENSA COMPANY LIMITED within the maritime industry(freight forwarding) where I gain appreciable
knowledge in the freight forwarding activities specifically goods in Transit to neighboring landlocked
countries (Burkina, Mali) including valuable skills such as Cargo handling, container transportation and
shipping/receiving.

In both my academic and professional life, I have consistently been praised for juggling education with
work and as quality-oriented personnel by my peers and colleagues.

Generally, upon seeing the course modules in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, I have become
extremely enthused about gaining more knowledge that will help shape and direct my career path.
Modules like lean operation and six sigma look very insightful and I can not wait to be seated in a class
to be thought all these modules. I am also looking forward to bringing on board my perspective with my
work experience and the classroom discussion I had in Ghana.

At the end of the successful completion of this program, I am fully convinced that I will gain all the
much-needed knowledge and work experience to gain meaningful employment with a global firm within
the Logistics and Supply chain industry.

In conclusion, I hope my application meets your kind consideration and that I will become a leading
logistic and supply chain expert which the school will be proud of shortly.
