Statement Of Purpose

I am Simon and this is in congruent with my application for the Masters in Logistics and
Supply Chain Management program at ______ University.

In this rapidly advancing and competitive business world, logistics and supply chain was
never important in past as it has been today. Consequently, a candidate equipped with
knowledge in supply chain management holds a great scope in the current job market which
encouraged me to pursue a future in this field.

I did my schooling up to matriculation at Bapuji Central School and my intermediate

graduation at St Ignatius Higher Secondary School in the commerce stream. Thereafter my
affinity towards commerce and business motivated me to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce in
Computer Application at the University of Mysore and completed my graduation in 2018.
Following my graduation, I practiced as a trainee for 6 months and then worked as an account
assistant at Deva Associate in my town. In there I acquired experience in processes and
execution capabilities related to supporting and delivering people. And was more determined
and motivated to learn about supply chain management and to develop the skills needed to
have a successful career. Even though being employed I felt the need of expanding my fences
and explore the fresh scope of the business field worldwide.

After acquiring fundamental knowledge on this topic, I decided to opt for Logistics and
Supply Chain for my masters. I am very confident that this course will lead me to the goal I
seek to achieve. I firmly believe that a master degree in logistics and supply chain
management would help me to achieve all of my goals and objectives for an ideal
professional. After researching about this course in my country, I felt to choose a different
exposure for my education. As I have been taught in a monotonous way of learning over 16
years, I would like to experience a divergent ambience that crosses all the borders to which I
have been. UK is the best place where I will be able to win my dream with its long successful
educational history and world recognition of courses.UK offers a diversified exposure to
culture and relations where I can bridge up with international students and yet different peers
whom I hope to work with later and learn from, broadening my knowledge and horizons.
Another unique factor that attracts me is the optional modules that help in shaping education
towards my interest. And having an international qualification can also aid me to gain added
advantage and recognition on the international ground of competition.

Further doing critical analysis, I understood taking MSc _________ at the ________
University is the best choice as the amount of advanced education offered is beneficial in
upgrading my technical and other cognitive skills. So, I strongly believe this master’s degree
will provide me with the framework to develop the skills and knowledge required to have a
rewarding career in my desired field.
