Port Logistic Development
The topic of port logistic development is separated into three parts which are: (1) Port
& Terminal, (2) Container Terminal, and (3) Port Logistics Challenge.
Port and Terminal
To begin with of all approximately the definition of harbour, it could be a put comprising
of land/or waters with certain boundaries as a put for government exercises and trade exercises
that are utilized as a put for ships to dock, stack and/or empty merchandise, within the shape of
terminals and billets prepared with security offices and shipping security and harbour supporting
exercises as well as a put for intra and intermodal transportations. Other than, there are three sorts
of the harbour counting primary harbour, center harbour, and feeder harbour.

immigration, health, quarantine, and port police).
The speaker showed the flow of container logistics. So, there are three stages in the
flow:

container yard operation, receipt/delivery operation, and CFS operation.

Port Logistic Challenge
Nowadays, one of the big challenge of the port logistic in Indonesia is mahalnya biaya
logistiknya sehingga bisa dibilang ini yang membuat industri logistik di negara ini tak
maju-maju. Berdasarkan container throughput by country, China masih menjadi penguasa
dengan nilai 226,716,403, sedangkan Indonesia hanya menduduki angka 9,643,370. Dari data
itulah terlihat bahwa Indonesia tertinggal dari dari negara-negara lainnya.
