Statement of Purpose

Introduction:
My name is Amartya Reddy Ponaka, son of ___________. My parents have been a great source
of inspiration to me. Also, they have motivated me to be dexterous for a better career and to learn
in a multicultural environment, to groom myself in an advanced, sophisticated and modern
corporate culture so that I can compete in this global world, a top quality education is required.
Therefore, I have decided to study a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) at
_______________. I was born and brought up in Surat, the diamond city of Gujarat - India. My
father is a _________ and my mother is a housewife.
Academic Background:
As a passionate learner, I have been able to maintain a fair performance throughout my academic
life. I completed my Standard 10th (Secondary School Education) under Sai Baba Central School
with ______% in the year 2015. Thereafter, I took Science stream for the further study and to
foster my interest in biology, I completed my Standard 12th in 2017 with Abhyaas Jr College
with ________%. My aptitudes branded me as a capable student right from school studies. After
finishing my secondary and higher secondary education with fair grades, I signed up for a
graduate degree in Mechatronics. It was my dream to establish myself as a Robotics
engineer/technician that motivated me to complete this program. This passion has driven me to
maintain a similar distinction in my higher academic performance. I obtained a cumulative GPA
of ______________, clearing the course from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. I
was among the top scorers of my college. I have also undertaken various online courses and
certifications to develop an all-rounded knowledge and streamline my career. Moreover, I have
attempted IELTS – International English language testing system on _________date___ and
scored overall __________.
I have actively endeavoured to widen my experiences and exposures beyond the borders of
academics. I have participated in various competitions on robot during my graduation where I
still remember one of the best competitions where I won 1st prize in the Idea Presentation Daksh
on February 2020 in the topic of “Design and Fabricating of Border trespassing control system
for Fishery” at the Sastra University, Coimbatore. During my college days, the projects that I
have done:

 Project 1:-Self Balancing Robot

 Project 2 : Behaviour based Robotic Surveillance and Mapping System for Disaster
Management
 Project 3 : Smart Multipurpose Industrial Ground Vehicle, also published the paper
in Technology Innovation in Mechanical Engineering 2021.

I made my way into the professional world through an internship at Water carryover in ASU to
be reduced – Study of air velocity and Improvements to be done” In Piaggio from 3 rd June 2019
to 2nd July 2019. The company was pleased with my performance.
Developing interest:
Further studies were always a priority for me but it was my belief that before that I must gather
some valuable practical experience in order to gain a complete knowledge because knowledge is
incomplete without practical experience. In keeping with this idea, I started my professional

pleased with my performance. I have always been fascinated with the economic developments
that took place in the world. The willingness to know about the business and management
concepts made me want to pursue Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) at ________. I
aim to get inside the corporate world and become a great Project manager.
