To – The Admissions Panel at the University of Liverpool

While applying to the Masters program in Business Analytics at the University of Liverpool, I have
multifaceted aspirations to achieve and high hopes to count on. With the offline program at the esteemed
University, I intend to gain expertise in mt current skills with the in-class guidance, while contributing back
to the society and firms. Building a sound expertise in what you are good at is the motivation that has
driven me ever since I got into college. At the University of Liverpool, I intend to utilize the profiled
coursework and strengthen my analytical skills. I specifically want to learn and explore Digital Marketing,
Project Management, and Business Simulation via courses like EBUS603, EBUS605, EBUS614, and
EBUS635 among others. I’m assured of the best guidance at the University of Liverpool and surely do
expect to work with the college towards achieving our common goals with higher ambition settings and
splendid opportunities to apply my skills. I intend to setup my own business over time which will require
the sound coursework and the help of industrial experts like the one at the University of Liverpool. With
excellent partner companies and the career prospects too, Liverpool is among the best of choices I could
decide at this crucial stage of my career.

For some prior background, I just came back from a supposedly fatal accident while in the second half of
my Scholarship-based-masters in the USA. Now as a result, I have an even bigger motivation to grab this
excellent opportunity that the University offers. This incident of January,19 when the pandemic just began
reset my career goals but instilled a new sportsman spirit to get back up. Recuperating from 10 surgeries
from different specialists and a 1300 plus page injury report, I'm already a survivor. This gives me the drive
to take onto the challenge of completing my masters, and the University of Liverpool provides just that.

As for my professional skills, with more than 5 years of rigorous analytics and management experience,
it’s been an exponential learning journey adapting myself across most of the Fortune 100 clients(including
UK’s biggest retail brand TESCO), and on the other hand the large scale startups where the Daily Active
Users are around third largest in India. This rich experience has only grown with the variety of roles I have
had the luxury to contribute at, being a DECISION SCIENTIST, DATA SCIENTIST, SENIOR ANALYST, SENIOR
PRODUCT ANALYST, AND a PRODUCT MANAGER. Working across multiple industries, scales and
businesses, I've developed the acumen to perform in any novel environment that I would work in. This
includes me working across globally acclaimed firms like Mu Sigma, dunnhumby UK, Impact Analytics,
Naspers among others. I’ve also been an instructor in all the companies I’ve worked with and actually
started off as a boarding school teacher back when I started working professionally in 2015. Also, being
not just the studious guy ,I’ve been a continuous member of badminton, volleyball, billiards, cricket, and
many other games in colleges I attended or in company teams, along with playing badminton at District
Levels in India. I’m also an avid reader and have special interest in fiction and detective novels. I'm a good
singer with recognized participation in all the inter/intra college fests apart from company level
competitions. These factors also strengthen my motivation to be convinced that I’m an all-round
candidate who would contribute a little more if given the chance at a great University like University of
Liverpool. As for my academic expertise, I had a boasting 3.93/4 CGPA in the first half of my masters. I've
also had perfect projects in optimization, probability, among all the other required modules within the
course. Even in my bachelor’s, despite my mechanical background, I’ve aced supply chain optimization
and management modules, which eventually led me into analytics and a stream change in career. In the
technological domain, I've practical expertise in almost all big data and business intelligence tools too as
a result of my professional learnings. I’m adept in Python, RStudio, SAS, Tableau, Google analytics to name
a few. I've also humbly dabbled in almost all machine learning models which provides me the motivating

as well the skill for this program and for being a professional expert at the same time. I've never had a
backlog and have always been invested and interested in studies. As mentioned earlier I've also been a
teacher myself and have been coaching students since class 6th. Not only did I receive multiple merit
awards, been house captains in college, I've also been excellent in all Co- curricular Activities. To support
my goals, I've a utopian family with two excellent brothers apart from my lovely mother, and a versatile
father. They intend to support me fully support and provide strength towards a sound studying experience
at the University of Liverpool.

Otherwise, I'm an avid social personality with a decent social and professional presence, and I intend to
utilize and increase this social circle too at the University. I would love to work with the alumni groups,
support peers and work on inter- disciplinary projects, and increase social activities at the college. I intend
to thereby form a lasting bond with the University and its own presence. Finally, my motivations for
changing and helping the world around me will become a tad bit easier when I get this prestigious place
in the program. With the esteemed faculty and a perfect setup, I can start doing wonders from day1 with
the plethora of opportunities that are abound at the University and surrounding professional regions. I
would be graced with a bigger gift if the college can support me in this endeavor after my recent debacle,
and even without the support this opportunity is something I can invest all my motivations and finances
into. With the international community arriving and attending the course, it would certainly be easier for
all of us to feel like home and work better in academics. Hoping to have a place in the 2021 place in the
prestigious batch at the University of Liverpool, I would expect the committee to relate with my goals and
their own standards of selection and provide me a place in the program.
