PROJECTS:

Projects undertaken as a part of academics:

 Recommendation System using Genetic Algorithm:

The project aims at recommending the Best Search Result for the given query on basis of various parameters. The project
has a neural approach for searching the best possible outcome. The recommendation system uses two different and
innovative methodologies - content-based filtering and genetic algorithm. Presented in a International Conference on
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ICECE-2013)

 Automatic Medication Dispenser:

Current time and alarm time (time at which medicine is to be given) are given as inputs. When it is time for
medication, the machine rotates using a stepper motor and drops the correct pills. The working mechanism is controlled
using ATMEGA32. The project was made as a part of the curriculum for the subject Electronics Hardware Workshop in the
fifth semester.

 Portable USB Charger:

This USB charger is meant for gadgets like mp3 player and cell phone. The main component of this project is IC MAX 756
which is 3.3V/5V -output, step-up DC-DC converter. The project was made a participation entry for ELECTROWORKS’11, a
national level electronic projects exhibition and competition in the fourth semester.
WORK EXPERIENCE:

Analyst, Fractal Analytics Ltd, Mumbai [Aug’13-present]

1. Data Harmonization :

 Analyzing data extracts based on logical rules which are implemented in JAVA-based automated system, output of
which is used in high level analytical decision making.
 Creating a standardized database by validating, consolidating and harmonizing data from different sources,
formats and structures, delivering it to client on monthly basis for different country categories.

2. Budget Review Standardization Process :

 Standardize various KPIs, budget and business review presentations which are used across functions and divisions.
The results and recommendations would be reviewed with functional and divisional SMEs
 The role was highly consultative in nature and involved intensive secondary research to gather metrics pertaining
to various departments and collating best practices used in the industry

3. Sales Forecasting :

 My current project involves demand forecasting for specific products/product portfolios.

 Using a combination of SAS and R for the data manipulation and modeling, my responsibility is to deliver
PowerPoint presentations with actionable insights and recommendations.
