PERSONAL STATEMENT

Self-Introduction
This is me Fakhri alam, I am 24 years old and writing to you from Peshawar Pakistan,
where I completed my undergraduate studies in rural development BSc (Hons) Agriculture. I am
applying to University of Bolton (city of Manchester) for master’s program in MSc international
management (IM), which help to increase my knowledge, skills, build self-esteem and vast my
vision that support me to plan my future task perfectly. Being ambitious I have strong desired for
success and achievements. I am assiduous, studious and sedulous student and have keen of interest
to learn and discover new things.

Academic background

After completing my graduation decide to study international management (IM) as it is

considered as career and vast field that appear rapidly. In today’s business world the international
management (IM) is not just the subject but it’s something more than that. As business is sprouting
day by day. After graduation I was looking for education that can further hone my academic
knowledge and improve my co-curriculum activities too. I realized to widen my horizon, broaden
my range to interest or activities that can be anticipated and get exposure to a country like UK
which have best institutes, organization and best education system. On the behalf of these facts I
decided to complete my master from University of Bolton UK which will certainly give my career
a boost because UK degree and qualification are appreciated all over the world. At the same with
my studies I will be able to interact with different people and expose myself to a cultural and
educational diversity of UK’s unique cultural diversity give us chance to exposure a multicultural
environment. All the universities and UK recognized internationally and offer a quality education
and the best thing is that the UK master’s degree is about one year which help to save our time and
cost as well. Being supplying best education will help a lot to improve myself. I was considered
one the diligent, hardworking, and most active student of my class I used to take part in both
academic and co-curriculum activities. I got a CGPA of 3.34/4.0 thus fulfilling the academic
requirement of this course.
Reason to study in UK and in University of Bolton

Choosing the UK for my higher education will be one of the best and life changing
opportunity for me. There are many reasons for choosing the UK and specially the university of
Bolton for international management (IM). Firstly, choosing the UK and university of Bolton
because of its excellence in efficient and well-organized research and technology as well as high
standard, good rank, quality education, well-qualified staff and affordable fee as compared to other
universities. Moreover, the selected course for my future study at University of Bolton, MSc in
international management (IM), is my own decision. Secondly, choosing the university of Bolton
because it was nearby where my brother Naveed alam lives for ten years in UK in city Manchester.

Future prospect

By studying the mater’s program and possibly working for short period in the UK, I expect
to have skillfulness by virtue of possessing special knowledge, the perspective and the experiences
obligatory to lead our industry to new era. After my completing post-graduation and having
experience in UK, I intend to come back to Pakistan with significant qualification and magnificent
skills to join big companies in Pakistan as it is my dream and want to support my family as the do
many things for my success.

Financial support

My father will support me financially he is able to provide me sufficient money that

responsibly cover my expanses during entire studies and my brother Naveed who live there in the
Manchester with his family will also support me.

Conclusion

I sincerely hope that the admission committee finds my profile well suited to the
requirements of the course and give me chance to serve my self best and to be a part of esteemed
university.
