Title: 002 VIDEO 2 Skills, Knowledge & Next Steps

Due Date: Week 13, Day 3, 3pm. Weight: 35%

General Assessment Criteria 

1. Your video submission should total six minutes.
2. Consider how professional your videos look and sound, including your appearance and the
background. It is important to appear professional in line with the sector you are working in.  Practice
your presentation rather than reading from a script. 
3. You should be critically analytical and self-reflective (Watch these videos on experiential learning and
reflection for guidance). You should aim in each video to provide a self-reflective story (for example:
customer complaint you handled; manager got involved...). The videos must be uploaded directly to
WebLearn as MP4 files. Please consult your assigned tutor if you have any questions about this.
Submit the Video 2 file to a Weblearn assignment called 002 VIDEO 2 UPLOAD – SKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE & NEXT STEPS.

Please note that you will receive individual grades for each video, however these will be combined
to provide one grade for the 70% weighted video portfolio. This final mark will be available after
result publication on Evision.

Specific Assessment Instructions for Video 2

This 6-minute video must reflect on your whole work experience for the module, covering how well you met
each of your Personal Learning Goals that you set in your first assessment.

Criteria for creating the video:

In reference to your Goal 1 that you set in your Learning Agreement:

Refer to at least one transferable skill you developed/utilised in overcoming challenges in work
project/experience for example: communication (written and verbal), initiative, teamwork, organisational
skills such as time management and interpersonal skills in your placement. Provide scenarios of how the
skill(s) has/have been applied to overcoming challenges in your work project/experience such as a project
task you have completed or a discussion with a client/colleague for example. 

In reference to your Goal 2 that you set in your Learning Agreement:

Show application of one type of academic knowledge to your project/employment (from your course
studies). Reflect on how this academic model/source relates to a scenario from your work
project/experience. Verbally cite the academic source you are referring to.

In reference to your Goal 3 that you set in your Learning Agreement:

Refer to the single most important thing you learnt about the organisation you undertook your
project/employment with and state why it was important for you.

In reference to your Goal 4 that you set in your Learning Agreement:

Refer to how the placement experience enhanced your career progression and action plan for how
to gain specific skills and knowledge you believe you still need to develop to progress into your
ideal graduate career and how you plan to achieve this. You can refer to how any of your abilities
highlighted on the Strengths Assessment have improved (completed on the Careers Portal for the first
assessment). Verbally cite an appropriate graduate careers information source in this section.

Remember to include a bibliography written in your WebLearn submission or include a slide at the end of
this video for the two sources cited.

CV Upload You additionally need to upload your updated CV to Weblearn as an attachment with the
work based learning experience included which will receive feedback but will not be assessed.
