LETTER OF GUARANTEE
IN FAVOUR OF NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF
SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY, ISLAMABAD

Address] do hereby guarantee and undertake as under:-
Whereas at the instance of NUST, my son/daughter/ward namely Mr / Miss / Mrs [Scholar’s
name] has been granted admission in NUST under [IT/S&T/Endowment Fund, as applicable] in [name
of programme/discipline and college/school/centre]1 in this respect my said son / daughter / ward Mr /
Miss / Mrs [Scholar’s name] has also executed and signed an agreement with NUST and issued a bond
/ undertaking in favor of NUST to which I am a witness, the contents whereof I hereby duly
acknowledge.
Now, being father / mother / guardian of my son/daughter/ward, and for the benefit of my said
son / daughter / ward, I do hereby undertake and guarantee that he/she will complete the programme. In
case he/she fails to fulfill the commitments as per various clauses of the Agreement signed by him / her,
I shall pay the amount equal to incurred expenditures plus other charges to NUST as applicable.
This letter of guarantee / undertaking is being signed by me at my free will and without any
pressure or coercion on anybody's part (as the same is for the benefit of my son / daughter / ward namely
Mr / Miss / Mrs [Scholar’s name] at [Place] on this [date] in the presence of the witnesses mentioned
below. This letter of guarantee / undertaking will also constitute as part and parcel of the agreement and
bond/undertaking executed and signed by my son / daughter / ward namely Mr / Miss / Mrs [Scholar’s
name] as aforesaid.
