In view of a heavy demand by the country and an urgent need for Civil, CSE and ECE engineers by the society at large, Seats in these branches are enhanced. Aspiring students may get benefitted by this opportunity. Students who already admitted into IIMDP through admission counselling also have to appear for this test if they wish to change their branch.

1. GENERAL: (1) 5-year International Integrated Masters Degree Program (IIMDP) is designed for the advantage of Student Community through which students can acquire both UG and PG degrees- B.Tech. Degree from JNTUK, Kakinada and Post Graduate M.Sc.(Engineering) degree from BTH, Sweden for ECE and CSE students and MS (Civil Engineering) from AIT, Bangkok, after FIVE years. This 5-year IIMDP degree is recognized abroad through BTH, Sweden, or AIT, Bangkok and in India and globally through JNTUK, Kakinada, an AICTE and UGC recognized and funded Government University, established as an Institution in 1946. (2) Applications for admission into IIMDP will be processed jointly by JNT University, Kakinada (JNTUK) and BTH, Sweden and AIT, Bangkok. (3) There will be no provision for students to discontinue the studies in the middle of the program and claim alternative degree. (4) Admissions are all purely provisional and the University reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage. 2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates with 50% in Intermediate Examination (10+ 2 pattern) conducted by the A.P. Board of Intermediate Education (BIE)/CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects or Diploma in relevant field or Equivalent. Candidates who will be completing their intermediate education or equivalent by 30 June 2011 only shall be eligible to appear for the IIMDP-2011 admission counselling. 3. STRUCTURE OF IIMDP: The duration of IIMDP is 5 years (10 Semesters) and the students admitted have to undergo the first 3 years (Seven semesters) of mandatory education at JNTUK, Kakinada and the next 1 years (Three semesters) of mandatory education at BTH, Sweden or AIT, Bangkok. BTH as well as AIT, have alumni of about 50 different countries and faculty of 20 different countries for teaching/training. 4. Integration Bridge Program: Integration Bridge Program will be conducted by JNTUK. The program includes, Motivation & Induction Training, Project & Time Management, Cross-Cultural issues. The detailed information will be provided during admission counselling. 5. FEE STRUCTURE: The tuition fee is Rs. 2,12,500 per year and is to be paid at the beginning of every academic year for all the five years. The Fee is USD 6000 per year for NRIs/Foreign Nationals. Refund of fee will not be entertained once admission is made. The student has to pay the tuition fee for all five years to JNTUK, Kakinada only. 6. ACCOMMODATION, VISA REQUIREMENTS & PLACEMENTS: Hostel and Food facilities will be made available by JNTUK on chargeable basis. Accommodation at Sweden will be facilitated by BTH. Accommodation on AIT campus will be facilitated by AIT, Bangkok. However, the expenses must be borne by the student only. Students should be able to fund their own travel and living expenses for the stay abroad. The approximate anual expenditure towards Hostel, Food and other living expenses is Rs. 60,000 at Kakinada, Rs. 100,000 at Bangkok and Rs. 250,000 at Sweden. Students should be able to show a minimum financial requirement for the entire planned study period at Sweden/Bangkok as per the rules of Migration Board. The successfully completed IIMDP students are eligible for campus placements at JNTUK as per JNTUK norms. 7. HOW TO APPLY: Candidates are required to download application format and Information booklet from the website www.jntuk.edu.in. The duly filled in application form with Two sets of enclosures and registration fee of Rs.1,000/- in the form of DD drawn, in any Nationalized bank, in favour of The Registrar, JNTUK, KAKINADA payable at KAKINADA should reach the Director-FUAR, JNTUK, KAKINADA-533 003, India by post or in person on or before 28 June 2011. Attested copies of Secondary Education (10th Class) certificate & Attested copies of Qualifying examination also must be enclosed. The Registration Fee is USD 200 for NRIs/Foreign Nationals. Office of the Directorate of FUAR is not responsible for the non-receipt or late receipt of applications sent by Post / Courier. Incomplete applications are liable to be summarily rejected . Information like Exact address of Test Centre, Rank in the Test and Documents to be brought at the time of admission counselling will be periodically posted in the website only. Printed information brochure will not be supplied to the applicant at any stage. Applicant should bring Photostat copy of the filled-in application form at the time of Entrance Test and admission counselling as the Hall Ticket. 8. Selection Criteria: Admission into 5-year IIMDP is purely based on the performance in the IIMDP Entrance Test held on Thursday 30 June 2011 in JNTUK, Kakinada. The IIMDP Entrance Test (in English only) will be for about 100 minutes with 100 Multiple Choice Type Questions- 20 in Physis, 20 in Chemistry, 20 in English and 40 in Mathematics. However, the admission counselling centre is JNTUK, Kakinada only. Admission of NRIs/PIOs and Foreign Nationals into JNTUK for any course including IIMDP is made on First come first basis. There is no Entrance Test for NRIs/Foreign Nationals.

The student, if selected, must pay the annual Fee of Rs. 212,500/- (USD 6000) immediately after the admission counselling. Fees once paid will not be returned.
