Exploring the Potential of Ginger and Peppermint Oil as Minor Pain Reliever for
Teachers and Students of Bauan Technical Integrated High School
INTRODUCTION
Teachers and students both experience minor pains in their daily lives. For teachers,
teaching in front of the class while standing can cause some body aches and standing can
cause pain in the different parts of their body. Dealing with disruptive students and staying
with educational trends can additionally add up to the pains of teachers. For students, sitting
for a long period of time to attend classes is the major factor that can cause pain to them, and
sitting can cause physical discomfort. Additionally, carrying heavy backpacks with lots of
school supplies can add up to back pains and pain in the shoulder. While these pains may be
minor, they can add up and affect both the teaching and learning experience. Balancing
personal life with work demands and managing a heavy workload can also be challenging.
By these factors, the researchers decided to produce a product and conduct a study
regarding the minor pains of students and teachers at Bauan Technical Integrated High
School. Pain relievers are medications or treatments that help alleviate discomfort or pain. It
can either stop the pain or reduce the pain that an individual is facing. Pain relievers can help
teachers and students focus on their personal work. Conducting this study will also help to
have a better understanding of the given topic and contribute to existing knowledge.
Determining the Perceptions of Teachers at Bauan Technical Integrated High School
about Serpentina and Ginger as Insecticides
INTRODUCTION
Insecticides are a type of pesticide that is specifically designed to control or kill
insects. They can be used in a variety of settings, including agriculture, public health, and
residential areas. Insecticides work by targeting the nervous system, respiratory system, or
other physiological functions of insects, causing them to die or become immobilized. While
insecticides can effectively control insect populations, they can also negatively impact non-
target species and the environment if not used properly. As such, it is important to carefully
consider the risks and benefits of using insecticides and to follow all safety precautions when
handling and applying them.
The researchers decided to make an alternative insecticide with natural resources as
their materials. The problem that the researchers identified is the widespread of insects in the
school they are currently studying. These insects can cause diseases that can harm not only
the students but also the teachers and staff of the school. Additionally, this study can provide
additional information about the perceptions of teachers and individuals on using natural
insecticides as their regular insecticides. It is important to conduct this study to gain a deeper
understanding of the topic.
