Comparison of crime rate of Rape in Rajasthan State with other states as per data available

from NCRB {2014-2019}: It can be Inferred that Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh,
Maharashtra, Delhi, Panjab, Haryana etc. have the highest number of cases registered under
this Crime. The total incidents of Rape report stood at 36,735 in the year 2014. Out of these
cases reported the major chunk of cases were reported in Madhya Pradesh followed by
Maharashtra & Uttar Pradesh. The lowest being reported from Manipur. Manipur registered
75 cases in 2014. In 2015 Sikkim registered 5 cases while Madhya Pradesh recorded highest
number of cases 4400. In 2016 Again Madhya Pradesh recorded highest number of cases
4908 followed by Uttar Pradesh & Maharashtra. The lowest being reported from Mizoram
with 23 cases. In 2017 Madhya Pradesh Registered the highest number of rape cases at 5562.
While Nagaland had lowest rape cases with the rate of 0.8%. In 2018 Madhya Pradesh
registered the highest number of rape cases at 5450, while Sikkim reported the lowest number
of cases at 16. In 2019 Rajasthan registered the highest number of cases at 6051, while
Nagaland reported lowest number of cases at 8. There has been consistent reduction in the
incidents reported compared to the previous years. However, when it comes to absolute
numbers for crime against Women, Rajasthan (34,535) is next only to Uttar Pradesh (49,385)
and West Bengal (36,439). The National average crime rate for rape is 4.3 per Lakh
