Point Guard (PG) - A point guard, like other basketball player positions, provides a variety in

certain skills. Their primary responsibility is to create scoring opportunities for their team,
and occasionally for themselves. This usually includes setting up plays on the court, passing
the ball to the teammate in the best position to score, and so on.

Shooting Guard (SG) - Shooting guards are important players on a basketball team because
they can make shots from beyond the three-point line and are one of the primary players in
charge of stealing balls on defense

Small Forward (SF) - also known as a swingman, is considered to be the most versatile of the
five major basketball positions due to their offensive and defensive contributions

Power Forward (PF) - also known as strong forward, plays a similar role to centers On
offense, they usually play with their backs to the basket. They typically defend in a zone
defense, positioning themselves under the basket.

Centre (C) - is usually the tallest player on the team, and he also has a lot of strength and
body mass.
