KATALCO 92-2
Alumina-silicate ceramic support balls

Product benefits • Robust alumina-silicate formulation stable to very high temperature

and thermal shock to accommodate normal operation and upset
conditions.
• High crush strength to avoid breakage in service and maintain low
pressure drop.
• Available in various sizes to allow optimisation of both support and
hold down properties for the particle size of the catalyst or
absorbent charge.
• Very low leachable iron to avoid strength loss and catalyst
contamination in the event of wetting.
Product uses • Support and hold down applications in reactors in conjunction with
catalysts and absorbents.
General description • KATALCOTM 92-2 are alumina-silicate ceramic support balls
available in a wide variety of sizes for use in support and hold down
