3. Course aims:

- Students will understand the types of fossil fuels and their characteristic properties.
Explain the structure, working principles, key parameters, and applications of
semiconductor components that are currently widely used in practice.
Analyze the devices and semiconductor components used in practical applications.
3.2. Skills:

5. Summary of the course contents:
- This course introduces the formation, structure, and properties of fossil fuels (coal,
oil, natural gas) and other fuels, as well as the refining and processing methods of these fuels.
The course provides students with fundamental knowledge of fuel chemistry, the use of fuels
as chemical raw materials, and transportation methods for liquid and gaseous fuels.
- The course aims to prepare students for the challenges, opportunities, and changes in
the global energy and resource sectors. It equips them with the necessary knowledge to
understand the science behind fuels and their role in the modern world.
