ME AND MY SOCIETY

Today we will be taking a closer look at me and my society, As we all know, the term "society" refers to
the people who we interact daily in our community and who are bound together by shared concerns
about our policies, politics, cultures, traditions, beliefs, and values. Society is a web of relationships
between people who have developed these connections as a result of mutually reinforcing goals and
objectives.Well my society is no different from yours.

Let's start by taking a look at my society's surroundings and my whole life in that places . You can take a
motorcycle or any other mode of transportation to get to my society, which is located in USMAD, ARGAO,
CEBU. To get here,you would have to pass by a signage that says ”Welcome to USMAD NATIONAL HIGH
SCHOOL” And you must only follow the road ,do not take another pathways. And then cross a large bridge
since there is a RIVER underneath . After crossing the bridge, you can view many homes on either side, you
can also see the lotohan station at the side of the road, where my grandma used to tell me to try it so that
I can be a millionaire and not to mention the well-known sari store owned by an elderly relative of mine,
which is a convenient place to stop if you're traveling and become hungry or thirsty and it has been there
for a decade .Then you will see three path ways that will lead you to different locations the left side is Sitio
DALAHAY which mainly composed of the Upper and Lower part of Dalahay. While on the right side is Sitio
BANLOT which I currently live. Furthermore if you would go straight ahead of the right pathway you will
next arrive at the Sitio PAWA where I will tell you that they have the very beautiful sceneries of mother
nature you can see different rock formations from large to small ,It is also quite popular for their spring
water that is just so refreshing and cold. Me and my cousins would used to take a bath there if our water
supply would run out and fetch some water out of it to drink ,so much of that as you go along the way you
will see the legendary Mount Lantoy where the famous legend of Maria Cacao is known for,

The third pathway is to just keep going straight ahead when you cross the bridge, which will take you to
your next location. While traveling down the road, you will pass by numerous sari sari stores and come to a
PUROK that has been destroyed by the typhoon. The USMAD ELEMANTARY SCHOOL , where I attended
when I was a child, will be reached after that. Whenever I visit this school, many memories would come to
mind, like I can still picture myself running around carefree with no worries or problems at all. Next up you
will pass by yet another sari-sari shop before coming to another two pathways, one of the two pathways
which will take you to the Barangay Hall of USMAD. In addition the Nursery School is next to the barangay
hall and is very colorful. Behind the barangay hall is a basketball covered court, and in front is a
playground with swings and other play equipment. And the other side of it is the Health Center of our
town. While the other pathway is by following the road straight ahead that will next lead you to my alma
matter the USMAD , NATIONAL , HIGH SCHOOL where I grow as a teenager joined many competitions ,
tests my capabilities as a student leader, exhausted, cried and learn to have crushes, and steal glances
whenever I see him just like any other teenager It happened to me also being deeply infatuated by
someone who I wouldn’t name.

In this different places or land marks I met different kinds of people which I interact everyday,First in the
sitio of mine which is BANLOT where I grew up as I am today the people in here are all my relatives and
families which im very comfortable with ,I usually just barged in to their houses just to play or do
something to ease the boredom and eat without embarrassment. Also In the sitio DALAHAY I would go
there during fiestas and I would say people in here loved their patron so much every house would have
many dishes and celebrate it and it was all delicious. The people as general in my society I would describe
them as just them since i only know them as what they have shown me I don’t really know them as a
whole person , we sometimes just pass by each other if we have our own things to do and greet each one.
