ADELE
This song describes, in broad strokes, the feeling of anger, disappointment and

This song has been interpreted, among others, as:
1. a metaphor for how deep the couple's love had been,
2. the hell in which the boy lives since, apart from having hurt the girl a lot, now he
has to live without her.
3. the expression of the great anger that she feels.

FLOWER FAIR
The typical costumes are generally for events such as the Flower Fair. The
peasants wear their raw linen pants on a daily basis, and a long-sleeved shirt, as
well as an "aguadeño" straw hat. Some elements, such as the carriel and the
poncho, are common accessories throughout the year, which can be a good
souvenir for the visitor. The carriel is a small, oval leather bag with a pointed lid as
a closure.

TYPICAL COSTUME OF MEN.

The silleteros parade is undoubtedly the most representative event. The silleteros
are peasants who make flower arrangements and carry them on their backs. They
use wooden saddles with backs and two handles that allow them to be hung from
the shoulders. They were already used in colonial times to transport people in the
Antioquia mountains. The most emblematic figure of this tradition is the legendary
María “La Larga”, saddler and globetrotter who carried children on her back. María
and her innovative movement system convinced many farmers in the region to
carry their loads of flowers on their backs and thus bring them to the city in a faster,
more comfortable, safer and less tiring way.
The typical costume for men is the Antioquia hat, white and with a black band, also
the poncho or the ruana depending on whether it is cold or hot, as well as the
carriel, the machete and the espadrilles.
TYPICAL COSTUME OF SILLETEROS WOMEN.
In the skirt a collected in the petrine was used. On the shirt, the tray collar was
changed and it was closed with a handmade collar, decorated buttons on the
chest, puffed sleeves with boleros and a clean back to carry the chair and the
chumbé or woolen thread sash in a golden tone was worn until the waist. He also
wears an apron, mantola or shawl for the shoulders and a headscarf. The quotes
or espadrilles, the same for all the silleteros, will have greater support and comfort.

THE TYPICAL COSTUMES OF WOMEN.

Peasant Sunday Outfit
It is low-cut and long-sleeved and is made of bright pink silk; he ties his shoes that
he hangs in the nearest ravine of the town where he washes his feet and puts them
on; as a complement a small mantilla embroidered in tulle.
TYPICAL ARRIERO SUIT FOR MEN.
The Antioquia "muleteer" costume consists of raw linen pants, rolled up even when
not working during the day, a striped blanket, leather sandals or espadrilles, a long-
sleeved shirt without a collar, made of white baize with red stripes . Some common
accessories of the Antioquian man have become ingrained symbols of the paisa
culture, such as the carriel and the poncho. The carriel is a small bag made of
leather and ocelot skin, oval in shape at the bottom and with a pointed lid that
serves as a closure.

Typical costume of the town criers of Medellín:

A wide skirt made of cotton cretonne; high-necked, long-sleeved blouse; black
knitted trousers with silk cord fringes; espadrilles tied with black cord; as a
complement to the suit are: the basket, the tray or the drawer where the products
offered are placed.
