Background:
*The customer ordered service for the exhaust gas leakage at B10 cylinder exhaust outlet line around
multi-duct connections and at waste-gate bellows. Therefore we carried out repair and support
replacement job at exhaust gas outlet line.
Description of work:

*When we dismantled insulations around A10 & B10 cylinders' exhaust gas pipeline, we observed B10
exhaust gas outlet connection flange screws were broken. and also support screws for the bellows and
waste-gate bellows were all deformed.

*We also inspected that pipelines and T/C inlet bellows at each bank were not in line. Therefore; some of
screws had been broken and the other parts deformed. For the reason; we removed all deformed parts
which are shown on the photos below.

*When we inspected externally exhaust pipe bellows (200 081) before T/C at each bank, we couldn't see
any deformation. but after dismounting, we can see the inner side liner is not in line. (please check the
photos).
*We unscrewed all broken studs on the parts and renewed them.

*We also observed A bank connection piece (200 077) for exhaust pipe form (or shape) is not normal and
some grooves of distance sleeves are deformed. So that we couldn't see the sleeves are not in contact
completely in their grooves.

*Consequently; we renewed all deformed parts with original ones which is listed above the report and
mounted them.

*Waste-gate bellows, T/C inlet bellows, with their screws, sealing rings and nuts renewed. we mounted
new support (202 333) and remounted pipe (202 127) at each bank with new screws and sealing rings
because of misalignment.

*Position of the parts after mounting of them showed on the photos below.
Recommendations:
 Connection piece (200 077) at A bank exhaust line must be renewed immediately.
 Please check the situation of exhaust pipe after 500 running hours of engine.
