Student Centered Learning

Is a type of learning that focuses on the students actual experiences. A passive student becomes
active throughout the process.

Problem based Learning

Is a type of a student centered learning that focuses on to students to solve a problem which is
open ended. This will enable students ideas to be shared in the class

Project Based Learning

Is a type of learning designed to give students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills
through engaging projects and challenges. This is more on task related activities. The student will
complete a task and they will learn as they accomplish each task.

Case Based Learning

Is a type of learning engages students in discussion of specific scenarios or case. Often there will
be discussion and debate among the ideas of the students.

Inquiry based Learning

Is a type of learning focusing on the curiosity of the students. They will be inquiring and
discovering facts and information that will lead to the answer they sought.

Active Learning

Is a type of learning that engages students through discussions, problem solving, case studies,
role plays and other methods. The students will share ideas. Do things on themselves. They learn by
discovery and experience.

Learning by Doing

Is an experiential type of learning. The student will learn by doing things. Students will discover
new information, learn from mistakes and becomes an active learner. The role of the teacher is to guide
the students, but most of the task id done by the students.
