Act 1:

I have got a nuclear family that has only five members. We obviously have our own difference and sometimes
we fight but all of us love each other very much. We share a strong bond and affection. It’s pretty hard to
pinpoint one out but if I have to, I would like to describe my mother.

She’s possibly the first one I saw when I opened my eyes to this world. I love her to the bottom of my heart. I
respect her intelligence and her loving nature. She is definitely the kindest person I have ever and will ever
met. She is perky, charismatic, optimistic and the ray of sunshine in my life.

To describe how she influenced me, I’d say it’s her parenting method that make me become who I am at the
moment. She taught me patience, honesty and hard work brings success. I spent 18 years living with my
parents and those virtues are our living motto until now. I am currently living alone now but whenever I have a
chance, I’ll always visit my parents and tell them everything. My mother gives great advice.

The reason I admire her, well – she is caring, compassionate, and possesses kindness and love for everyone.
She is an ideal mother who raised all of her children and ensured their quality education and moral values. She
has sacrificed a lot and had never complained about anything to us.

Act 2:

I’m going to describe an old wristwatch that I inherited from my grandfather. So it’s a family heirloom, it’s an
antique watch, and it’s really a simple, classic old watch with a leather strap, a white face, and a gold edge
around it.

And I’ve had it for the last 10 years, I think it is, since my grandfather gave it to me. But it’s been in the family
for several generations before that.

In fact, I think it came originally from my great-grandfather, because his name is engraved on the back of the
watch face. So perhaps it was a gift that he received from an employer, or a friend, or another family member.
We’re not really sure, but he had it originally, and then passed it down to my grandfather, and now it’s
obviously mine.

The reason it’s special, then, is because of this sentimental value that this watch has. As I said, it’s a family
heirloom, it’s probably the only antique, really old possession that I’ve got that reminds me of my grandfather,
and it brings back happy memories.

For example, I remember when my grandfather was helping me to learn to tell the time when I was a child.
Because his watch had such a simple, clear clock face, it was very easy for me to understand what he was
talking about, when he showed me how the big hand was for the minutes, and the shorter, small hand on the
watch was for the hours. So I remember him teaching me to tell the time, and testing me with different times
to see if I understood.

I also like the watch’s stylish, elegant design; it’s very simple, it’s just a classic, timeless look, and it’s really
durable and resilient; I think it’s so well-made that I’ll be able to hand it down to the next generation when I’m
older.

Act 3:

Our idea of the best holiday destinations in the world differs widely from one person to another, but I guess
the majority of us, myself included, wouldn't say no to a beach holiday. As a patriot and one who loves water
and ocean breezes, I'd choose a domestic place of interest that features a beach, and Ha Long Bay just
happens to fit my criteria perfectly.

Located in Quang Ninh, a province in the northeast of Vietnam, the bay covers a wide area unspoiled by
humans. For a stellar experience on the waters, look no further than local tourist boats called junks, which are
abundant in Ha Long Bay and which come in different price
ranges. It is probably the best means of taking a tour and sightseeing in the area. A cruise sailing through the
wonders of this Bay could range from a few hours to a full day on board, and the experience is truly out of this
world. Passengers would get the chance to behold the marvelous sceneries en route, while chilling out with
their friends and family.

On top of splendid and breathtaking scenery, Ha Long Bay is also renowned for its superb and mouth-watering
seafood. You'd find it hard to resist the seafood salad, the shrimp cocktail and whatnot. This is a huge bonus
for a foodie like me, who would definitely try out the local cuisine every time I visit a new place. To tell the
truth/frankly speaking, the description I'm giving in this case is taken from a travel brochure that I've come
across and from hearsay. I've never actually been there myself. But if the opportunity comes, I wouldn't miss it
for the world.

Act 4:

I want to talk about the time I threw a birthday party for my brother. It was in 2021 when she passed the good
student exam and got very good results, which surprised my whole family. Therefore, to mark his resounding
success as well as his turning point in life, I celebrated his 11th birthday.

Moving on to details, I would say that it was a family dinner involving only my family and some of my brother's
close friends. However, I still try my best to make it one of the most unforgettable events of his life by cooking
many of his favorite dishes, from bun cha to pho, all of which are Vietnamese specialties. On top of that, I also
sang a song for him, which made the atmosphere at that particular moment more cozy than ever. Finally, we
sang the birthday song as my brother cut the cake. We congratulate him and wish him success in the future.
Then we ate cake and had a delicious feast together.

After the party, my brother came up to me and said it was the best birthday party he had ever had in his life.
My parents were also touched at that time because the bond between us was strengthened so much.
