Zara is one of the biggest international fashion companies, and it belongs to Inditex, one of the
world's largest distribution groups. The customer is at the heart of our unique business model,
which includes design, production, distribution, and sales, through an extensive retail network.
The origin of Zara's brand identity was delivered on the Inditex website. Zara had its origins in the
name of Spanish founder Amancio Ortega. The founder of Zara started a clothing company in
1963 and opened his first clothing store, Zara, in 1975. With the concept of fast fashion, it was able
to grab the attention of a broad spectrum of consumers.

Zara, which contributes around 80 percent of group sales,

More styles = More choice, and more chances of hitting it right.

50% of the products Zara sells are manufactured in Spain, 26% in the
rest of Europe, and 24% in Asian and African countries and the rest of
the world.
