Mapper

Mapper is a Mapbasic Program, which is used for viewing the neighbors of each cell
in the MapInfo.

To use this application in MapInfo please follow the Steps mentioned below:

Run MapInfo Application.

Open the cellsites and nbrcells (Delimited ASCII (*.txt)) files by selecting
Delimited ASCII File type.

Check the box of Use First Line for Column Titles and click OK.
Save Copy as cellsites_1 and nbrcells_1 (MapInfo table).
Close all tables.
Re-open both Tables (cellsites_1 and nbrcells_1) and Go to Table 
Maintenance  Table Structure.

Select cellsites_1 and in Modify Table Structure window change

MTX_SITE_ID from integer to Character (width = 5).
Then Select nbrcells_1 and in Modify Table Structure window change both
Srvcell and Nbrcell to Character (width = 5).

Close all tables.

Open cellsites_1 table and Run SiteSee2.3 (mapbasic application).

Save New Boundary Table as cellsites_fans.

Close all tables.
Run Mapbasic program “Mapper”.
Mapper button will appear in the toolbar menu.
Click Open Cell Sectors and select and open the file cellsites_fans.

Then Go to Mapper  Neighbors  Load Per Cell Pair Table and open the
nbrcells_1 table.
Go to Mapper  Neighbors  Click Intra Switch On.

Click on any cell in the MapInfo window to view its neighbors.

 While updating the data, the files names i.e.cellsites and nbrcells and there
column names should remain unchanged.
