Problem Scenario
The healthcare sector is one of the fastest growing in India & provision of healthcare at home
is emerging as a key service in the expansion of this sector. The cities and the urban lifestyle
being the main consumers of this service, with shortage of time, increasing traffic woes and
the urban nuclear family system, healthcare at home becomes a very critical enabling service
in receiving healthcare.

Problem Statement
To understand the perspectives of healthcare service providers and patients - synthesise an
ecosystem for this service and create a relevant experience (product/service/
channel/platform).

Project Guidelines:

• Apply Design Thinking approach for solving above challenge/scenario using all tools
& techniques, various frameworks as discussed during the live lectures.
• The below tools & techniques being applied to projects are:
o Observation – Beginners Mindset, Camera Study, Shadowing, Fly on the Wall
o Empathy – 5W & H, Interviews, Persona, Customer Journey Map, Empathy Map
o Define – Contextual Inquiry, Point of View (POV), How Might We (HMW)
o Ideation – Brainstorming, Mind-map, Lateral and Divergent thinking tools,
SCAMPER
o Prototyping and Testing techniques, number of iterations along with the
feedback from users/stakeholders
o Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas and Business Strategy to launch
• Prepare a Research plan - Where to look for, What to look for, How to look for it,
How to interpret what you find
• Clearly mention user data with collection of Primary and Secondary data
• Create Financial, Revenue, Marketing and Sales strategies
• As a conclusion, briefly write your learning from this project & course
