Vitraag Chaudhary imagines what his life would have been like if he had been born in India instead of the UK. He would have had an Indian name like Surajsingh Katekar and grown up watching Bollywood stars like Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar. Instead of playing James Bond, he thinks he could have played the role of Gun Master G9 in Indian films. He would have loved to have a career in Bollywood acting alongside great Indian stars like Amitabh Bachchan and knows he would have excelled.

My Avatar: Sean Connery • If I were to born again, I would want to be born in India. India, the country which has one of the leading movie industries, Bollywood. I always wondered what if I was born in India, and more so as an Indian. What would have been the differences? Let’s see:
• My name. It wouldn’t have been Sean Connery
but Surajsingh Katekar, born in Mumbai, India. I would have grown up watching Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar. I have always admired them, but also envied that I wasn’t able to achieve what they did. But I would have loved to watch them and grow up and also have my personality based on their roles or their traits. But could have been a good childhood. • My famous movies: If I was in born India, I would’ve never played the role of Bond, James Bond. Maybe someone else could have they done the role and seen them at the theatres here. But I would love see to see my life where I wasn’t the iconic 007. I think I would’ve done the role of Gun Master G9 instead of Mithunda. Not 007 but hey, I am Gopi, Gunmaster G9.
• My career in Bollywood: Like I said, I would’ve
been in the movie Gunmaster G9, maybe other famous movies as well. I would’ve loved to play the part Amar in Amar Akbar Anthony. I would’ve loved to see myself up with the greatest like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Sanjeev Kumar, etc. But I know one thing for sure, and that is I would’ve excelled. But these things aren’t possible because of course I was born in United Kingdom, but I would’ve loved to see myself in India: The opportunities, the life, the ups and downs, the craziness, the struggle and what not. But one thing I would’ve loved to see myself grow into something great, powerful and majestic. Because come on, in the end I am Bond, James Bond
