PROPOSAL

Synopsis - A group of friends are hanging out when one of them notices the dog is
acting strange, they go and investigate is behaviour but when they realise something
paranormal is a foot. They return home before realising that was haunting them was
now in the house.

Purpose - The purpose of this mini movie is to create suspense and keep our audience
on the edge of their seats.

Contributors involved - Oscar, Daniel, Melissa, AJ , Chelsea & Rochelle.

Examples of similar documentaries - The Blair witch project, Paranormal activity, the
backrooms found footage all use a found footage style which is what we are planning to
do.

Target audience – Our target audience are teens to young adults as that appeals to
found footage fans and Jorden Peele fans.

Who is working on the film -

Oscar – Producer/ Acescent director

Daniel – Director/ Co producer

Melissa – Writer/Camera operator

AJ – Editor/Sound mixer

Resources needed - For equipment we will need a zoom, camera & tripod. The actors are
Oscar, Daniel, Chelsea & Rochelle. The location we are filming at will be located at Melissa’s
house.

What is the USP - The found footage style is a often overlooked and underutilises in media even
though it is a good way to create fear due to how it frames the events as somewhat realistic and
are in the realm of possibility. The found footage gene has blown up in recent years for its
creative way of presenting horror and we would like to make out own take on the genre.
