My father is from Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. while My mother is from Busan,
South Korea. I'm half Japanese and half Korean. but I currently live and work at
the Science and Technology University Hospital in Sana'a, Yemen. I'm an orthopedic
surgeon.

I work in Yemen with the UN due to the contract I signed with them in the middle
east of YEMEN precisely in Sana'a. I have signed with the UN for over 4 years now,
precisely I have only been here for 3 years now, I came here in the year 2018, so
precisely I would be out of here by the end of 2022... so I would probably be
leaving here soon.

I'm on a three years contract with the UN working in Yemen. The contract runs from
2018 to 2022. But my contract will expire in three months from now and i'll come to
the Netherlands after my contract expires with my daughter

How do you spend your leisure time ?

I read a lot of books , communicate with my daughter And sometimes I do researches
And read news on the internet. Sometimes I do a lot of Co-work here in Yemen. It is
very tough.
I'm a person who is ambitious, optimistic, playful, hard working, and devoted,
intelligent, trusting, genuine, honest, sincere, witty and easy going. I'm very
passionate in all areas of my life.

I'm very responsible and try to eat right, workout and live a healthy life. I stay
active and have a good time doing it.

Yemen is a war country that is been attacked by the Talibans. The Taliban are
terrorist group killing and destroying properties. Yemen is not a country that I
will advice anyone to take a tour to. I pray nothing bad happens to me the short
time I have to be here

Although it is very dangerous and scary here, because of the war, innocent people
die here every day.

I love my job very much because it brings me happiness and joy whenever life is
saved, and it is a privilege to help humanity.

I'm a single mom. well i was once married but unlucky for me I am a widow my
husband died over 4 years now and he died of kidney failure, it affected me
mentally and physically.

But luckily for me, I have a 14-year-old daughter who lives and studies in NY,
actually in a boarding school far away from Yemen, but now my housekeeper checks on
her every weekend

I also have a very close connection to my daughter and we share everything together
as great friends. i have been single ever since then.

I love helping to save life, the after reaction of joy I receive from my patients,

Oh i see, I had never smoked in my life neither used drugs, and never pretend too,

Well, it's good to know my hobbies for a while are, swimming, and reading, walking
on the beach, fishing, camping, scrabbling, playing checkers, and seeing good
comedies. I love the outdoors mountain biking, camping, fishing, horseback riding,
outdoor photography, cooking and also spending some time out with my daughter,
but now I am over here I don't have those privileged like I once had...You are very

Why did you choose your current career?

well i am a christian, Well I am a christian, I don't go to church because of my
nature of job that i do, but i believe in God, I consider myself as a spiritual
thought.

How do you spend your weekend?

I enjoy going to the beach,love the ocean and mountain view. Enjoy some Travel and
weekend trips. Movies and dinners with a nice glass of wine.Going to concerts or
comedy club and more.

nice park followed by a picnic ( Romantic thought.) Dont care for the cold or snow

I enjoy cool romantic music,and celine dion is my favourite,I listen also to old

Tell me do you love flowers?

As for me I do love flowers as well, I really love roses, I have a garden in the
UK, I have really missed watering them.

My home is being cared for by a property company that also takes part in home cares
and maintenance.

i really want to live in japan because japan is peaceful and safe.

There is a document that allows us to indicate where doctors, and senior staffs
will like to settle down after our contract expires. I have already indicated
Japan, as where I will settle down after the end of my contract.

What's the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?

dear, the funniest thing that has ever happened to me. One day i was walking home
from the bus and i noticed that someone was fallowing me. so i took a left side,
again he followed. at the time i was already scared. so i walked faster and went
into the door of a random house to see if he would follow. honey it turns out that
it was his house. Heoney he was filled with laughter, while my heart was still
beating faster, I thought I was going to be robbed.

What's your dream?

My dream is for my contract to expire.
So I can come to Japan, set up a private hospital, real estate investment, buy a
house close to you.

Do you think it is possible for everyone to control their own destiny?

I believe we are what we make out of ourselves, we all have the ability to make and
create a life we want for ourselves, weather good or bad, we all have the ability
to chose what we all become.

What are some of the most important things in your life?

Family, their successes, own peace of mind, inner harmony, honesty with oneself and
with the world, health, development of oneself as a person.

For me it will be my daughter and make the people around me happy, the loss of her
dad really affected me a lot and it made me realize the importance of family
because people always tend to let you down when you need them the most.

Family as support, support, place of stability, emotional balance, learning moving

forward, novelty in life, knowing yourself, your fears, expectations, crises,
failures and the opportunity to grow further, change, become the best version of
yourself, understanding others and the world around you through yourself and your
growth.

What is your biggest fear In life?

Probably physical pain, I always subconsciously avoid dangerous situations.
This is if you analyze the past and I already look at many things differently, part
of my biggest fear Is to loose the one I love and I don’t want to loose anyone
close to me again. I enjoy life in a quiet, peaceful and loving manner, I avoid
conflicting situations that may interrupt my inner peace.I hope I find someone with
similar traits, someone who will appreciate me for who I am and will support me in
all my endeavors to excel in life, who will be my comforter and share most things
with me good or bad.

It’s always nice to have you near and to enjoy your company and your loyalty. It’s
important to have the friendship and affection of someone with whom we can share
our joys and sorrows.

So how is everything going over there in Japan regarding to economic situation??

The pandemic has caused a lot of damage to the financial, physical, and social
aspects all over the world causing great havoc to everyone around the world. It
death rate increase numerously, I hope the pandemic does not affect your business ?

Well i believe in every situation that has to do with national economic, has to
plead with the leaders, if the leaders (GOVERNMENT) can take care of their duties
and obligations very well I know nations can grow in good results

I want to set up a private hospital, when I come to Japan. It will be free medical
care to all citizens above 60 years.

S T O R Y / FAMILY BIOGRAPHY

Do you want to learn more about me? do you want to know my life sad story, because
I want to share it with you.

I was born in Nagoya Prefecture.

I was just 3 years old when I lost my parents. They died in a car accident. I grew
up with my uncle, who was sick of what is sometimes referred to as locally advanced
cancer. The cancer has already grown to multiple tumor, and has spread to some of
his tissue and organs.

I left Japan when I was 7 years old with my uncle, few years after the death of my
parents. I went to UK with my uncle, but my uncle later died of cancer when I was
11 years old. I was forced to live as an orphan. I was told that no family member
came for my pick up and I had to stay and face life head on, and lived in an
orphange.

Life in the orphanage was very hard I went to school with inadequate utility. I had
a scholarship, and graduated from high school. I studied Medicine and surgery in
the University of Bristol, and soon I started working for the UN. I have no
siblings, no parents and even extended family. I was all alone in this world, I
didn't make friends because they always laugh at me during high school, so i
thought it was better alone.

I receive my certificate following graduation from the University of Bristol, UK.

I had my degree as the best (MIS) Minimally Invasive Surgery student for joint
reconstruction. I completed my four years of undergraduate college, and i finish
four years of medical school. I wrote and passed my medical licensure boards.
I was so lonely. There was no family, so I enlisted for more task I and worked at
other private hospitals, made a lot of money. I was promoted quickly, made many
cash but money was never important to me, because money could not give me
happiness. I'm alone in this world, but am so thankful for having my daughter, and
you as my good friend.

I have lived in UK for so many years. I don't know much about the Japanese
traditions and cultures. I don't even know how to speak Japanese. I don't want my
daughter to grow up like me. I want my daughter to know Japan very well. I want my
daughter to know the traditions and culture of Japan, and be able to speak Japanese
very well. I have lived in a place of war for three years now. I want to come to a
peaceful country.

I make use of translation software, because I'm not good at Japanese language.
You know I lived in UK all my life. I hope you'll teach me Japanese language when I
come to Japan. And I'll also be glad to teach you English.

Do you like summer or winter?

I also like summer because is the hottest of the four temperate seasons, falling
after spring and before autumn, at the summer solstice, the days are longest and
the nights are shortest, with day length decreasing as the season progresses after
the solstice.

I also like winter is the coldest season of the year in polar and temperate zones,
winter does not occur in most of the tropical zone, It occurs after autumn and
before spring in each year.

Do you think money can buy happiness?

It is tough to say whether or not money can buy happiness because happiness is
difficult, if not impossible to define.

Some would say that money can provide you with basic comforts, shelter, food,
healthcare that are a prerequisite for experiencing happiness

Happiness is a complex emotion that is influenced by intangible factors such as

one’s personality.

Happiness is free and everyone deserves to be happy. I always tell others that no
one has the right to steal joy or happiness from a person

It's very important to be happy. I always say that happiness is free, but in some
cases it's the most expensive gift. It's best to go your own way, leading to
happiness, and do whatever your heart desires to be happy.

I also play the drum kit, but that was a long time ago. Now my daughter often plays
the drum kit and piano. I have several musical instruments at home because of my
daughter

Do you think life is fair?

I also don't think life is fair, it always seems like the good people in the world
take the short end of the stick whesreas the assholes have everything come to them
so easily.

Life is not fair to certain people, maybe its because of the karma bad things they
did in their past life, and fair and good for some people. Maybe its not fair to
some child like you but in return of fairness reward u better life in coming
adulthood. Its a balanced life and how each individual learn to struggle, persevere
and achieve what they want in their life. That's my opinion. Those not getting fair
life shouldn't blame anyone but how to fullfill his her life and do what they want
before leaving this world, regretting not doing what they wanted
All that we can do is live and learn from our mistakes. cry about it, talk about
it, wipe our tears and hope for a better tomorrow.

What is more important to you, status, power, or money?

For me I would say status, because my profession as a doctor has always brought a
lot of recognistion to me both internationally and locally. This includes in
everything I have always wanted, and in all I can still aquire money and power from
my status as a doctor. So basically there is nothing left out in all. So I would go
for status anytime.

Do you like traveling?

I love to travel and visit new places. I'm a great lover of nature and I love the
breathe of fresh air. I can experience nature at every risk or cost. I love to
experiece a vast range of customs and traditions from all over the world.

Have you visited other countries?

I have traveled to some places, and it is really a nice experience because I do
learn their way of living.

I have visited France, London, Dubai and some other countries.

Where would you love to travel to next when you have the opportunity to go on a
vacation?
As for me, I really love being in the Bahamas. I love the environment there, the
cool breeze, the peaceful air, the calm sea and wind, and a lot of really kind
people.

How do you feel about getting older?

No doubts that as we grow older a lot changes constantly. I mean basically looks,
but this doesn't mean we have changed in our hearts, for me I still feel very
young, nothing changed from my youthful days, only slight changes in my looks of
course, but I believe once the heart is willing there is no limitation to what we
can all achieve. So getting older has not been a bad experience for me, now I just
want to explore more about life and get commited to the things I failed to do
during my youthful age because I believe there is a lot of more opportunity for me
now.

Well, the mind should constantly develop optimism, learning new knowledge, proper
nutrition, sports, taking care of our health and aging will be a joy

The older you get the, the more you realize you have no desire for drama, conflict,
or any kind of intensity. You just want a cozy home, good food on the table, and
surrounded by lovely people who make you happy.

I believe, old age is a gift, and I always wanted this gift when I grew up, it's
really great for me and I'm happy to have come this far at my age. I still know
that the old days will bring more blessings when I finally retire and I will have
the opportunity to rest and now explore more beautiful places around the world and
learning other experiences. It will be great for me but all of this beauty would
not be great if you don't have a partner who would be your bestfriend in aging
times to share in all of this gift and life's beauty with you, and I forgot to
mention that you still look very beautiful like a girl in her early youths.

It's really great for me and I'm happy to have come this far at my age. I still
know that the old days will bring more blessings when I finally retire and I will
have the opportunity to rest and now explore more beautiful places around the world
and learning other experiences.

Do you have any allergies?

Yes, I'm allergic to garlic in food and product, and this has become very difficult
for me because garlic is found in most food and products. So I always have to go
through menu's carefully all the time and this is really tiring for me most times.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I would discribe myself as an extrovert, because I'm an outgoing socially confident
person. I'm a person who is concernced primarily with my physical and social
environment.
Although I'm a bit reserved with somethings, I still tend to meet well with social
settings without stress.

Are you a spontaneous person?

Yes, I am a spontaneous person because sometimes I take actions even without plans
and still not have a fear that something might go wrong in the end. So generally, I
will say I'm an optimist, everyday I wake up being hopeful for a brighter day
because I'm confident the future holds better tidings for us all.

Are you a politically inclined person and do you like to take part in elections to
make your vote count in the society for a more desirable government?
I'm not particularly interested in politics, and we have corruption in our country,
and it is quite developed. My country and the people of my country are only
maturing politically, and this is an understanding of responsibility and an
understanding that no one except us will do anything for our city and society, and
these elections very clearly show progress in this matter.

I like to vote and make my vote count, not for any political interest but because I
want a good society. A more conducive community and society for my daughter to be
raised and be brought up in a perfect country where there is no fear, bad
governance, political horrors or terrors.

I want a change for the society for myself and the people around me, but my best
hope for a governance is so my daughter can grow in a country where there is change
and discipline.

Not a country like Yemen where there is so much killing of innocent souls and also
bad governance.

Environment is the biggest factor that affects our kids, no doubts that society has
one of the greatest impact on our kids.

TRUST

The most expensive thing in the world is trust. It can take years to earn & just a
matter of seconds to lose.

Trust is like a mirror, once it’s broken, you can never look at it the same again

Never trust a person that has let you down more than 2 times. Once was a warning,
twice was a lesson and anything more than that is simply taking advantage.

Trust a person to the extent that he feels guilty to cheat you. Love a person to
the extent that he fears to loose you

Trust is the glue of life. It’s the most essential ingredient in effective
communication. It’s the foundational principle that holds all relationship

What personality trait do you value most and which do you dislike the most?
Respect for others, responsibility optimism and the ability to enjoy life. I like
honesty the most and I hate pessimism, shifting responsibility to others, gossip,
lies. It breaks my heart when a person is dishonest and this is my biggest turnoff
in a person.
I respect people who act according to their beliefs and desires.

I like the way you think and also your excellent sense of reasoning.
Trust me, I must confess that communication with you here is very much educating
and there us a lot to learn. I like when there is a lot to learn from a person.

Who has influenced your life the most?

Books and the Internet. When I got the Internet, I started to learn everything new
that I was interested in, I like to study a lot, at first I just absorbed the
information, and then I began to think and analyze.
Reading book and listening to clips from Dr Ben Carson, particularly, his books and
messages has really changed me and possitively influence my life.

How do you react when you are hurt?

I either take a long walk while listening to music or I take sometime out to the
sea side, listen to really calm songs and then watch the calm seas.
When it hurts mentally, I withdraw into myself, It's easier to be cheerful and
smile than to show your pain and helplessness.

A month a ago myself and my team of doctors and some military soldiers embarked
from very deadly mission.
Some VIP Chiefs in the Northern Part of Yemen were kidnapped.

While we were trying to rescue the chiefs in the Northern part of Yemen a lot of
soldiers and doctors were killed and some were badly injured. We tried all our best
and rescued the chiefs.

The chiefs in the Northern part of Yemen rewarded my team of doctors with 100
million US Dollars worth of Gold, as compensation for the lives that was lost and
including the injured ones and also for our hard works to save their lives from the
terrorists.

My own share of the Gold is worth 2 million US Dollars, because I am the leader of
all the doctors posted here in Yemen. But the problem is that the security company
that was securing the Gold for everyone here wants to fold down here in Yemen due
to the frequent gunshots and bomb attacks we are experiencing here in Yemen.

Everyone securing valuables has been asked to evacuate their Gold within 2 days. If
anyone fails to do that they will not be accountable for any loss and damages.

REASONS WHY I ACCEPTED THR UN CONTRACT

The main reason why I decided to take the contract and come down to Yemen and work
is that after my husband died, I was totally confused, frustrated, and hopeless and
it was affecting me and my daughter in all dimension,

So the United Nation offered me this contract, at first I wanted to decline but
when I looked into it very well, I saw that there are thousands of lives are being
lost in Yemen due to the war and my service as a medical doctor is needed and I can
save life's of thousands and if I decide to decline I will be leaving thousands of
life's to be lost instead to be saved.

I am a very passionate person, so I was touched by the situation and I took the
bold step to accept the contract from the United Nation to serve humanity here in
Yemen, I did it just to save life's of persons and also this keeps me busy and I no
longer have to feel the effect of my husband's death that much and I placed my life
on the line to do this job, I placed my life in great danger, I hope that God bless
me for this big sacrifice I have taken.
