Hi,

I am Shashikant S. Wagh,I am a self taught programmer, writing code since 2007/08. A fun fact
about me is I started my programming career in the Mechanical industry writing code for CNC
machines, which I learn by myself from a badly written user manual which comes with a
machine, no prior experience in programming and I loved it and I have been writing code since
then.

I have about 8 years of experience in PHP and PHP frameworks (Laravel and Symfony) and
about 5+ years of experience in Frontend libraries like Vue and React and although I am self
taught for the most part, I have Bachelors in Computer Engineering.

I take ownership of tasks assigned to me and its very important for me to produce a work which
I would be proud to put my name on.
I keep updating my knowledge base by consciously learning and updating my knowledge base
about the tech I am interested in and I share some it by open source work and blogging.

I have been leading a small Front-end dev team of 5 members, at my current

employment.Where I have been working for the last 3+ years on quite a large and complex
Legacy code base, performing following roles.
● Sr. Frontend developer
● Project management - Breaking down features into multiple tasks, assigning these tasks
to team members via JIRA, conducting daily meetings to keep track of development.
● Mentoring new frontend developers to requirements of the project, to make sure they are
not facing any issues tech or otherwise and to ensure code quality and standards are
adhered.

I believe I will be a great fit to the team. Not only with my experience but my cultural background
I can bring a new perspective to the team. I can be resourceful as a mentor to jr. members of
the team.
I am really excited with prospect of being part of a great product which is solving real world
problem and helping millions of people and I would love to be a part of that process by helping
in continuous platform development and improvement of the products and platform

Looking forward from your side.

Thanks,
- Shashikant
