afford to put $1,000 down on the car and pay up to $375 per month. The car salesman said Mark needs
to put more money down on the car if he wants the payments to be under $400. The asking price for
the car is $9,450. This includes a sixty-day warranty. Mark told the salesman that he can’t afford to
put more money down and he can’t afford higher payments. He needs to keep some money to cover
the cost of car insurance. A friend at work is selling a similar car, but it doesn’t come with a warranty.
