About The Backup Files Folder!

- UltraSeps v2 - Windows

All files are included here to both install and run UltraSeps without using the installer if the need arises. These can
also be used to replace an accidentally discarded or damaged file.

If the situation arises to install manually, the best plan however is to run the installer again with Photoshop CLOSED
as opposed to attempting to place files and folders manually. Be certain the installer completes. Then launch
Photoshop and load a new set of Actions.

Description Of The Files & Where They Go (If Needed) - Windows Version:

******************************

The folder named "UltraSeps" contains the color settings file with the color bar targets and is placed directly at
the top level of the C: Drive. (C:/UltraSeps)

The Color Settings File is installed by running the UltraSeps Action to automatically load the settings into
Photoshop. The Color Bar Targets are used internally by UltraSeps. The purpose of these is to provide color for
UltraSeps to see within a file that is void of color or lacking important colors. UltraSeps will not run without this
folder in place.

******************************

The folder named "QSU" contains the JavaScript's which are triggered by the Actions. It is also placed at the top
level of the C: Drive. (C:/QSU)

The files in the QSU Folder contain most of the instructions for UltraSeps to run. This folder must be present at
the designated location with all contents intact.

******************************

The folder named "Plugins" contains two versions of the UltraSeps Plugin.

The plugin named UltraSeps v2 32bit is for 32 bit versions of Photoshop.

The other named UltraSeps v2 64 bit is for 64 bit versions of Photoshop.

The use of "v2" in the plugin names is correct.

These are the Version 3 (v3) plugins as we have used the identical name as the v2 plugins to simplify
installation.

These files are the heart of UltraSeps and perform many functions. Everything from orchestrating its
operation, to containing functions that run processes not possible with using Photoshop alone.

The best way to install the plugin again is by running the installer with Photoshop closed.

******************************

The UltraSeps v2 Windows Actions file is what gets manually loaded into the Actions Panel of Photoshop by you.
These are not placed by the installer and must always get loaded by the end user.

Its the same file found within the main folder with the installer(s). I simply decided to include another within the
Backup Files Folder to have copies of all required files in one folder for easy access. No differences exist between
the two copies as they are identical. See the User Guide on how to load the Actions into Photoshop.

******************************

The UltraSeps Custom Color file is the color settings file that can also be found in the UltraSeps Folder. As stated
previously, these settings are automatically loaded into Photoshop by using the Actions. Here again, its simply for
convenience if needed. The color settings file compensates for dot gain and also assists in generating the black
ink channel for CMYK separations.

******************************

In all likelihood, the only files above that might be needed at some point are the Plugins. The plugin not
installed to Photoshop causes 99% of all issues.

If ever receiving errors like the examples below after restarting Photoshop, this indicates the UltraSeps Plugin is not
installed to the copy of Photoshop in use or other vital files such as the JavaScripts have not been installed.

"8800 Command Unknown Not Available"

"8800 Command QS Not Available

If errors such as these are generated after Photoshop was restarted, see the manual plugin install directions in
the the User Guide or better yet, RUN THE INSTALLER AGAIN with Photoshop closed!
