1. Ask students about superheroes that they know or they’ve ever seen in movies, dramas, comics, etc
PRE-LESSON 2. Ask students to draw pictures of their ‘Heroes’ on papers.

3. Ask students to draw pictures of their ‘Heroes’ on papers.


4. Introduce the song ‘Hero’ by Mariah Carey. (Give them lyrics with few blank spaces to be filled (~sounds
familiar right?) Then play the audio.
5. Then, stimuli pupil’s curiosity by ‘planting’ in their minds, a HOTs Question:
LESSON i. Who is the hero in this song?
DEVELOPMENT 6. Pupils move on to read the poem and discuss the poem together with teacher. “My Hero”. Ask pupils, is there
any similarities between both of lyric and poem? yes or no?
7. Pupils need to Draw Bubble/Circle Map and list out the characters of ‘dad’ from the poem.
8. Pupils proceed to draw their ‘heroes’ in their books and list out the characteristics of ‘their heroes’.

9. Lastly, pupils need to answer the following question:


POST-LESSON I. Why do you consider ‘him/her/it’ to be your hero?
