The notification will include all the details of the sections with their marks, weightage, negative marking if applicable, duration of the exam, and so on. Without being well aware of the RRB JE Exam Pattern 2023, it becomes difficult for candidates to come up an efficient study plan. Every year the RRB conducts a recruitment drive for the selection of candidates to fill in various technical positions. RRB IF is one of the most important exams conducted by RRB every year to fill in vacancies in different departments like Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) & Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). The RRB JE 2025 Selection Process is expected to include 4 stages which the candidates need to successfilly crack to get their dream job. In this article, we have mentioned all the details of the exam pattern of the different stages of the RRB JE exam, Read the article to clear all your doubts concerning the exam pattern or format of the RRB JE 2023 exam, RRB JE 2022 English Free Mock Test RRB JE Exam Pattern 2023 (Expected) Based on the previous recruitment eycle’s exam pattern, candidates shall come across four stages in the RRB JE selection process. They have to pass the first two stages for appearing for the Document Verification and the Medical Examination stages. The following are the expected stages of the RRB JE Selection Process 2023. CBT (Computer Based Test) Stage ~ I CBT (Computer Based Test) Stage — II Document Verification 4, Medical Examination, CBT Stage — 1 Exam pattern The 2023 exam pattern notification is not out yet but is expected to remain the same as the last cycle. There shall be a total of 100 objective-type questions each carrying 1 mark. The exam shall be marked negatively for each incorrect answer. Candidates shall lose -0.33 mark for every incorrect answer. There shall be 4 sections containing a different set of questions in the fields of Maths, GK, General Science as well as Reasoning. OBC & SC candidates shall have to score at least 30% (30 marks) in Stage | for qualifying to Stage 2. «ST candidates should score around 25% (25 marks) in Stage I for proceeding to Stage 2. CBT Stage —-II Exam Pattern RRB JE Recruitment Stage 2 is expected to be a computer-based test and shall also be conducted in online mode. The total number of questions in Stage 2 shall be 150. The total time allotted will be 120 minutes. There shall be $ sections in this stage containing different questions on General Knowledge, General Science, Computer Applications, Basics of Environment as well as a section on Technical Abilities. Candidates can only qualify for Stage 2 on obtaining minimum qualifying scores in Stage 1 «Each question in the exam shall carry 1 mark, and there are a total of 150 questions for 150 marks. There is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for every incorrect answer. Stage III: Document Verification Once the candidates clear the Second Stage of CBT(Computer Based Test) as per the cut-offs decided by the Railway Reeruitment Board, you shall be called in for the 3rd stage which is the Document Verification Process. After this, the final stage shall be the Medical Examination. Aspirants shall have to produce their original documents as given below. No photocopies etc, of the originals, shall be accepted at any cost. Following is the list of all the documents that need to be carried out for this stage in the recruitment process. Matriculation/10th standard Certificate or Equivalent certificate like Proof of Date of Birth(DOB). 10 +2/ Higher Secondary/PUC certificates of candidates shall be required. Diploma / Engineering/Science Degree Certificate along with Semester wise Mark Sheets are needed. SCIST certificates if applicable. OBC-NCL(Non-Creamy Layer) certificates as required. Non-creamy layer declaration certificate in case of OBC candidates. Income Certificates of candidates are required. Minority Community certificates of candidates are required. eI NWR Stage IV: Medical Examination (Final Stage) Asa part of the RRB JE Selection Process 2023, candidates who will clear the first three stages including the two written tests, as well as the documentation process, shall have to pass the final medical test conducted by the authorities. This test is for ensuring that the candidates are medically fit for carrying out their duties in a duly manner. Following are the medical standards a candidate needs to fulfil to clear the final stage. In the case of A-3 Medical Standard Category: «The candidate should be physically fit.(Factors like a good BMI, efficient performance of heart & lungs and steady blood pressure) ‘Visual Standards should include the following particulars - Distance Vision of the candidate should comprise 6/9, 6/9 with or with no glasses. «Near Vision of the candidate should include Sn: 0.6,0.6 with or with no glasses. = The candidate belonging to the A-3 medical category should definitely pass the test for Colour Vision, Mesopic, Binocular Vision as well as Night Vision. In the case of B-1 Medical Standard Category: The candidate should be physically fit.
