This report provides normative information for the performance of your examinees approaching the end of undergraduate medical
education on the IFOM Basic Science Examination (IFOM BSE), the ICG (International Comparison Group) and custom comparison
groups (if available). Caution should be used in interpreting an examinee’s performance relative to this group due to differences in
examinee preparation and motivation. More information about the ICG, custom comparison groups (if available), and how to

If you wish to compare an examinee’s performance with the performance of the ICG, locate the examinee’s score in the column
labeled Total Test Equated Percent Correct Score. Read across that row to the column labeled International Comparison Group. The
number in this column is the examinee’s percentile rank in the ICG, and it indicates the percentage of ICG participants scoring lower
than that examinee.

scores have been standardized to have a mean of 500 and a standard deviation of 100 for a group of examinees who took IFOM BSE in
