1) Each student will be paired up with a peer editor. See list on PSL

2) Write your name on this sheet and give it with your project to your partner.

3) When you receive your partner's paper, write your name in as editor.

4) Read the project and make notes or comments


It is helpful to make check marks on each part of the criteria (below) when you see
evidence of it, and circle those things that are missing.

5) Next, answer most of the questions below each area in regard to your partner's project. It
is not necessary to answer ALL of them.

6) Then give a check mark in each row of the Peer Review table that best explains your
opinion in that area.

7) When both people have finished answering the questions return the project (scan and
email this form to your partner AND submit to the drop box on PSL. Then discuss and clarify
the comments you've made with each other.

Students must demonstrate their math skills in answering the questions. Think about
what concepts and skills relate to your topic and SHOW the math you know in
answering the question and explaining the problem. Write about the math behind your

Remember to state any assumptions made and to define key terms.
The development of your model should be clearly communicated. Consider such
questions as: How did you start on the problem, and is it well justified? Have you taken

Appropriate mathematical language should be used.
Technology should be used appropriately and effectively. For example, graphs should
be drawn using a graphing program.
All projects must include a chart, table, graph or other illustration that is referenced to
help explain a concept or make an argument. Please do NOT simply attach
unexplained graphs at the end of the project. It is important to label your graphs. Also,
number them (figure 1, 2 etc.) so that in your writing you can refer to them to make
your argument and explain your work.
