PRACTICUM AND WORK-INTEGRATED LEARNING PROGRAM


ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AGREEMENT AND WAIVER

1. BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY TALISAYAN CAMPUS will permit SIONE A. LLENARES, a student of BukSU
Talisayan Campus, hereinafter called STUDENT-TRAINEE, to enter the company for the purposes of gaining
knowledge and experience as part of the university’s PRACTICUM AND WORK-INTEGRATED LEARNING
PROGRAM;
2. The STUDENT TRAINEE will undergo the 400 hour training at the company which may run from February
2023 to May 2023 with a minimum of four (4) hours a day from Monday to Friday;
3. The student, when in the process of training, will have the status of STUDENT-TRAINEE only, neither
displacing a regular employee nor substituting for anyone needed by the BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY
TALISAYAN CAMPUS shall have no obligation whatsoever to absorb and integrate into its workforce any
of the Student Trainees, even after a satisfactory completion of the Training Program;
4. The STUDENT TRAINEE, while in the process of training in the said company, may not be entitled to any
form of compensation in accordance with Section 9 of Republic Act No. 602 and Article 72, Chapter 1 of
the Labor Code of the Philippines; that it shall be understood that there shall be no employer-employee
relationship whatsoever by and between BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY TALISAYAN CAMPUS on the one
hand, and SIONE A. LLENARES on the other. Consequently, the Trainees are not to receive compensation
from BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY TALISAYAN. The Company, however, may at its discretion, grant free
meals during the entire duration of the training period, and shuttle bus accommodation to the Student
Trainee;
5. The Training Agreement is in accordance with the desire of the student to gain more experience, as an
academic requirement for graduation and as orientation for him to enter the industry;
6. The parent and/or guardian and Capitol University shall be responsible for the personal conduct of the
Student-Trainee while undergoing training in the Company;
7. The Student-Trainee is bound by moral obligation not to divulge to outsiders any vital information or
trade secrets that he/she may learn or acquire during or in the training, unless it is to be the for the best
interest of both parties;
8. That BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY TALISAYAN may unilaterally terminate at any time the training of a
particular Student-Trainee whose continued training and/or presence within the premises of the company
shall tend to be prejudicial to the interest of the latter and/or to any of its employees. The Company,
therefore, reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the entire program anytime if the interest of
BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY TALISAYAN CAMPUS so demands, the program being only one of
accommodation on the part of the Company;
9. That the Student-Trainee undergoing training with BUKIDNON STATE UNIVERSITY TALISAYAN CAMPUS
shall hold harmless and free the company, its employees and agents from any and all liability or cause of
action be it civil, criminal or administrative for whatever illness, or claim that they may suffer or sustain as
a result or as a consequence of their training, within the Company premises, or while going to and from
their stations, or on board service vehicles.
