Nothing can be achieved without effort and support. No matter how hard the task
is, with effort and the help of the right people anyone can achieve anything. We
would first like to thank Almighty Allah since, without His mercy, none of what
we have done would be possible.
We would also like to show our gratitude to our course instructor, Ms. Israt Jahan
Dina of the Department of Business Administration (General), Bangladesh
University of Professionals has supported us throughout this course with the
utmost dedication. Without his guidance and proper instruction, we would not be
able to conduct the research required for this term paper on “a new product idea
and strategic marketing of the product”
And finally, we would like to appreciate the individual efforts of our group
members. This report is the outcome of our combined efforts. Together, we have
been able to overcome certain difficulties and worked very professionally.
We would like to thank all those involved in the completion of this Term paper and
acknowledge their dedication and sincere suggestion. Although many errors are
our own and should not tarnish the reputations of these esteemed persons.
We were given the task of creating or providing an idea for a product that is not yet available in
Bangladesh. We conducted research to comprehend the market need for this purpose and
created this report on the product concept.
1.1 Rationale
The aim of this paper is to explore an untapped market in Bangladesh. We conducted research
and discovered that eye pens are for visually impaired and partially sighted individuals as well as
anyone else who has a visual issue of any kind. Additionally, it can be used by the elderly and
those with learning disabilities to read newspapers. Dyslexic individuals have a lot of market
potential given the circumstances and circumstances at present. It will also make it easier to live
sustainably. In Bangladesh, 750,000 people over the age of 30 are blind; cataracts are to blame
for 85% of their blindness (Ahmed, 2018). Each year, an astounding 120,000 additional people
are added to that number. More than 6 million Bangladeshis require vision correction through
glasses or another method. A study in 2015 revealed a 9.02 percent prevalence rate of dyslexia in
the primary schools of Dhaka.
1.2 Objective
Through this paper, we aim to create a change in the market and establish a product that has been
quite popular abroad.
