EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This is an attempt to find out financial performance and cost of life insurance company,
this also helped me to know how financial performance make a important role in a
success of the company and to know how theories can be applied to the practical
situation. As a master's student in business administration, it is part of the study for
everyone to undergo a summer project at a good institute or organization. So, for the
purpose, I had the opportunity of summer training at Life Insurance Corporation. My
internship project report “A Study Financial performance and cost of life insurance
Corporation, Belthangady division”. Before the internship, I had a lot of questions
regarding how an organization deals with regards to finance. Through this internship it
helped me clear all those questions and doubts. The insurance industry were been
changed a lot that it is necessary that knowing its financial performance would make a
company to compete better and have good performance in future. There are many key
players were been coming to market knowing its financial stability would make a
company to survive in long run. The report consists with introduction to the industry
and the company profile. And it is also understood that report is deals with theoretical
background , and also research is inferred on the company that performing well and
also been suggestion were been given for improving the market share and performance
well data collection , collecting information about elements that has to be included
in the financial performance and cost of company for work life balance and giving
recommendation to the company for its improvement.
