Welcome to Eleven Plus Exams Year 5 Course!

As a parent of an enrolled student, all future communications to our office must now
be directed to us at courses@elevenplusexams.co.uk which is a
dedicated email for our enrolled customers. 
DO NOT use 11plus@elevenplusexams.co.uk which is for use by the public.

The username and password are case-sensitive (use lower case not capitals).

Please do not share these login details. Your child's performance on the platform is
used for our assessments and therefore any abuse of the platform such as
sharing logins, will result in withdrawal of this facility, as well as rendering our
assessment process ineffectual.

We recommend you use Google Chrome browser for Apple Macs and Windows
based computers which can be downloaded from the link below:-

The homework platform is intuitive to use for most children, however, should you

need any help please get in touch with us. 

There is a homework announcement that sets out the required work that your child
should complete.

Dear Parent,

Your child will be assigned written homework to do, instead of Joel handing this in

class, all online students hand this in Google Classroom.
Every week:
*Vocabulary Table

Sometimes:
*Standard Compression
*Plenaries/Reading Log
*Optional Homework

To hand these assignments in, we are asking that you/your child submit the
homework on Google Classroom.

These assignments must be handed in at any time on Friday each week so that it
can be marked on Saturday.

To receive the invitation to Google Classroom you must do the following:

. Create a new gmail account. In the username, include your child’s first name, and
last initial. (If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, you can select another username
but then you must include your child’s name on all homework submitted in.)
. Please send us this new account username.

You can change the name presented on the account by going into ‘Manage
your Google Account’ and then ‘Personal Info’ and changing the name presented.
This account will be where your child can receive an invitation to
join Google Classroom, and this email will be where your child submits their
homework, and where they receive feedback from that homework.

This email will not be used for any other purposes by the ElevenPlusTeam. We wil
therefore not receive any emails there.

Please ensure that your child is monitored whilst using this account.

Once you have emailed us the details of the new gmail account, you will shortly
receive an email inviting you to join an ElevenPlus class on Google Classroom.

Once you have joined, you will receive the assignments they were set in their
homework.

Please read the instructions on the assignment.

Please make sure your child's name is written on their piece of work.

Then please scan (or take a picture of) your work and upload it onto
their Google Classroom account. Please make sure the correct work is being
uploaded on each assignment. Please make sure the homework has been uploaded
correctly by checking the uploaded version.

Then you will then be able to submit this work.

We will submit feedback on the work on the Saturday which you will be able to view
on the Google Classroom account. You may need to access Google Drive to see
some of the comments made on the document.

There will be a fourth assignment for any additional optional homework that your
child has done/will do such as book reviews.

You may be asked to complete other pieces of paper homework or plenaries

on Google Classroom. If needed, an instructional video on how to submit the work
and how to view the feedback can be found on the video attached. There are also
many YouTube instructional videos on Google Classroom as well

Note that you cannot be on another gmail account at the same time you are on
the Google Classroom one. You can be on another one in 'incognito' mode.

Dear Jafar,

Good afternoon and thank you for your payment. I have sent across to you all the
details for the Homework Platform in which you can log in and watch the new lesson
for this week. This will have to be watched and the plenary test completed by
Sunday night.

I have just spoken to my colleague regarding Creative Writing and she highly
suggests purchasing 2/3 books. These books should help support your daughter.
