Therefore, there is the need for an automatic alcohol detection system that can function without the restriction of space and time. OBJECTIVE * The system detects the alcohol level present in the air inside the vehicle. * On sensing alcohol it sends a feedback to the government website along with the location of the drunk person. é * Hence the system will reduce the number of road accidents and casualties due to drunk driving in future. BLOCK DIAGRAM WORKING PRINCIPLE i The alcohol sensor will detect presence or absence of alcohol in melee cL Melman a If presence of alcohol is detected it will send the necessary signal Pon mnacercen tee The microcontroller will show a stop in the display, then it will trigger the driver IC to stop the engine of the car along with a buzz Tata be TTe lM CMa Clee ae AU MCT uaere (YL ee Sre Toa UL eec-LeoL followed by the system will transmit a message to the nearest Deeley ice CIRCUIT DIAGRAM MECHANISM * When the alcohol sensor detects alcohol, a message is displayed in the LCD, the buzzer starts beeping and the engine stops. * The latitude and longitude is obtained via the GPS module » Amessage is sent with the help of GSM module to the local PS which includes the location and information about the person and the vehicle THE GPS MODULE ORR els leone * GSM frequency : 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. * GPRS : Class 12, TCP/IP. aun ae PL * Frequency : L1,1575.42MHz C/A code. f See cage nC A aN mee elt eae THE GSM MODULE (SIM-800L) Bera heen Rteh el ue Trace ta * Send and receive GPRS data (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.) microphone SCIEN eM acer oc} Sle UNL e she Me en slel-Lelec kia} SOE erie eo e Rs1g ee ea CL ae Neeson ace Rs] eee) THE ALCOHOL DETECTOR (MQ-3) * MQ-3 gas sensor has high sensitivity to Alcohol, and has good resistance to disturb of gasoline, smoke and vapor.
