The Bald Boy
Mark is a very funny boy. He has a lot of friends. He also does very well in studies. He never misses a
day of school. All the school teachers love Mark because he is very kind, smart and he loves to help teachers as
well.
One day, Mark unfortunately ended up having cancer. None of his family members, even Mark did not
notice that. So, one day Mark started coughing really bad. It was very suspicious for Mark’s parents because
Mark never consumes ice. So, they immediately rushed him to the hospital. The doctor told them some heart-
breaking news. Yeah, he told them that Mark had cancer.
After going through chemotherapy and all hard times, Mark finally recovered. He took a week off from
school just in case. Once he was perfectly fine, he decided to go to school. However, Mark hesitated a little
because he was bald. He still went to school on the hope that his friends would support him. But little did he
know, it was the opposite. Wherever he went, everyone was laughing at him, including his friends! Mark was
shocked to see his friends laughing.
When it was break time, Mark finished eating and was heading to his school assembly. There were
these naughty boys that made fun and teased Mark because he was bald. But at that moment, the discipline
teacher, Mr. James, caught the naughty boys. He got very angry seeing Mark getting teased by them. So, he
immediately keyed in their names in the bad behaviour category in the school system. Both boys regretted
making fun of Mark.
Mr. James helped Mark recover from the bully. He told some statements to Mark that kept him going
rather than regretting. Mark was happy again after that.

 The Bald Boy
It was a lovely morning in SJK(T)Taman Makmur. Teacher Bala, the class teacher of 6
Pagalavan was teaching his students. At that moment, a student entered the class. Every students
gasped in surprise to see Kumar after three months. They were also shocked to see that Kumar was
bald. Kumar felt shy and ashamed.
After recess, Kumar was walking to his classroom. But then, he heard a person’s voice. He
turned back and saw two boys laughing at him. They were Ramu and Ravi. The naughty boys started
making fun of Kumar because he was bald. They teased him continuosly.
The two boys’ disturbance made him angry, that he gave a loud scream. Hearing his loud
scream, Teacher Bala rushed to the spot. After seeing him arrive to the spot, Ramu and Ravi froze to
fear. Kumar told him about all the bullying. After hearing him, Teacher Bala’s face turned as red as
beetroot. He grew crimson all over his face.
He warned the boys that next time they do that, they’ll be punished. Then, Kumar told
them that he was bald because he went for pilgrimage. Ramu and Ravi was sad for teasing him
harshly. They then realised making fun of a person is not a funny thing. They apologized toKumar.
With tears in his eyes, he forgave them.

A trip to Genting Highlands

My last school holiday was a day trip to Genting Highlands ,a city known as the 'Fun City Above the
Cloud’. We left our home at about 8.00am in the morning. The road heading towards Genting
Highlands was narrow and crooked. My dad had to take a slow drive up the hill because the road was
foggy. However, we were mesmerized with the greenery along the journey. The journey to Genting
Highlands took about 2hours from Kuala Lumpur.
Once we reached there, my sister and I went to buy the entrance ticket to the Outdoor Theme Park.
We had to wait in a long queue to purchase the tickets since it was a peak season. There were many
exciting and adventurous games in the theme park. We had a chance to experience the roller coaster
ride, bumper car and more. One of the activity that attracted me the most was the Independence Day:
Defiance It was a flying theatre experience with thrilling space adventure. The ride was too good that
my dad and I went for the ride for the second time on the same day.
Apart from that, we also had a chance to experience the Ice Age Adventure tour. During the ride, we
had the chance to see the lovable characters from animated movie “Ice Age”. Along the tour, we also
had a chance to experience a thrilling Acorn Adventure rollercoaster ride which rides as high as 65-
feet.We screamed our lungs our during the twists and turns of the ride.
At about 6.00pm,it rained heavily, and we waited for an hour to continue our Theme Park activities.
However, in the end we had to say goodbye to the beautiful place since it was a heavy downpour. We
had whale of time in Genting Highlands, and it was a truly a memorable holiday for us.
