QUESTION OF: Human trafficking in Eastern Europe

The trafficking of women generates a worldwide problem, especially in the human rights of
women. For this reason, the delegation of Belgium proposes to improve this issue through the
following measures,

Emphasize with women who work in sex by,

1- listening and believing in them to take any of the measures

2- financing and responding to what they need.
3- creating a quiet place so they can work safely and without the need to worry about
their lives.
4- Joining the Blue Heart Campaign and supporting victims of trafficking through the
United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund (UNVTF).

Request all countries legalize prostitution so that the movements given when working are
saved and thus make it more difficult for women to be trafficked, which must remain illegal.

Urges to improve the following concepts,

1- Education: educate the next generation about the subject and also learn from them, in
order to create more awareness of the exterior and our actions.

2- Security: demand adequate responses and services for their purpose and impose security in
the most populated places, which is where most human trafficking occurs. As facilitating the
process of report g exploiters for trafficked women.

3- Communication: start conversations and show opposition to the topic.
