On 11/08/2020 at approximately 1142 hours | responded to called to report her ex-husband, Avi Tanners is at the location, bi-polar, and off his medications. He shoved and hither. En route to the call the female called back into $11 saying she needed help and put the phone down. \ arrived on scene and observed « fully nakee white male running after several children in frantof the residence He caught up toa white female, later identified 4s MPLS 2nd grabbed her hair. Officer Marquez and exited our vehicle and ordered the male to get onto the ground. Once on the ground, | detained the male in handcuffs (DL), The male stated he was Avi Tanners, he was stupid, drunk, and had taken lots of drugs. He was rambling on about how he knew the future and 9/11 was a joke. Avi refused to stand up and walk to our patrol vehicle, Officer Marquez and | picked Avi up, carried him to our patrol vehicle, and had to force him into the back seat, Once | shut the door, he started to kiek the inside of the door. | pleced Avi Tanners under arrest for Assault 4th dagree at 1145 hours, Besed on his mental state and Uncooperativeness, Officer Marquez transported Avi Tanners to the Spokane County Jail. Other SPD officers responced to the scene and started to concluct interviews, See their report for further information, | then contacted the female who called 911. She identified herself 2s NEM She stated the following insummary.. Avi is her soon to be ex-husband. His real name is Avrum Tanners but goes by Avi. The five children that were in the house and being chased were all her children from a previous relationship. Avi had not been staying at the location for a while but still had alot of his possessions still a the residence. She was unsure of where he had been staying, Avi came over this morning at approximately 0500 hours. He stated he wanted to talk. Later in the morning (approximately 1130 hours}, he started to call her his mom and asked her why she left him ina mental institution, He would say he hated her and then say he loved her, He kept saying this over and over. She thought he was exgeriencing a mental breakdown. He yelled at her he was going to kill her, he was going to kill his ex, he was going to kill his brother and then he was going to kill everyone. He said this several times. Avi wentinto her bedroom and stripped down completely naked. He then preceded to ejaculate on her bed and pillows, [tried to stop him. Avi punched her in her face with a closed fist then pushed her into the bedroom wall, He then grabbed her boobs and wrist, She was able to get away from him and ran into the kitchen, She grabbed a stool and hit Avi with It to defend herself, Avi started to thraw items from the kitchen all around making a huge mess. She told all of the kids to go downstairs into the basement bedroom. Once all of the kids got out of the bedroom by using the fire escape, Avi ran out the front door after them, She followed him outside and saw the police drive up and contact Av MZEMEE thought that after the assault if she did not defend herself or her kids, Avi would have killed them, END OF STATEMENT During the interview IEMIE os visually upset and flustered.
