SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES (FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE) AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS

1. Scholarship: OBC-Non Creamy Layer (Central List), General, SC and ST Categories students. State Govt of Odisha grants
scholarship to the OBC-Non Creamy Layer (Central List), General, SC and ST categories Odia students studying in Sainik School Bhubaneswar
based on the parents’ annual income. In addition to the State Govt of Odisha Scholarship, the Ministry of Defence also grants Central Assistance
and subsidy to the State Govt Scholarship holders. State Govt of Odisha has also introduced diet subsidy @ Rs 22,125/- per annum per student
wef 2022-23 to Odia students. The details of scholarship slabs and total financial assistance in the form of scholarship, central share, diet subsidy,
etc are as given below:-

2. Scholarship: Defence category students. Ministry of Defence, Govt of India grants the following scholarship to the Defence category
students studying in Sainik School Bhubaneswar based on the rank (in the Army / Navy / Air Force) of the parents, ie both serving and retired.
The details of rank based scholarships and financial assistance in the form of scholarship, diet subsidy from State Govt (only for Odia students)
and MoD subsidy are as given below:-

3. NDA Incentive @ Rs 2 lakh:- In addition to the above, the Odia students joining the National Defence Academy (NDA) through Sainik School
Bhubaneswar are also eligible for onetime cash incentive (NDA Incentive) of Rs 2 lakhs from the State Govt of Odisha.
Note:- At the time of new admission of students, the parents have to pay the fees in full (in one instalment). However, thereafter, the scholarship amount
received by the students will be adjusted and the balance amount will be charged from the parents which they can pay on instalment basis. Tuition Fee and
Dietary Charges are subject to revision by 10% every year.
