Drawing Poses with Pencil Techniques

Ryan Benhammadi studied drawing poses and using pencil for 20 minutes. They watched YouTube videos on capturing poses with circles for main joints and lines for shoulders and hips. Sketches aim to capture poses and ideas rather than perfection. Drawing the rib cage indicates turns, and tilting shoulders and hips adds character. The 7 head principle aids proportion. Different pencil types provide definition, with hardness impacting opacity. Practice included greysclaes and roughed-in shading. New vocabulary included modifications, joints, definition, opacity, rib cage, anatomical, roughed in, dedicate, trace, and lean.

Title: drawing poses and using pencil

Source: youtube,https://youtu.be/6uVeYrHk8f0, https://youtu.be/RoxQNtwPOJ0,
Reason for choosing this activity: i like drawing

Description (100 - 150 words) :In order to draw poses, we should draw main joints as circles. Structure the
pose with lines for shoulders and hips. Sketches are made to capture the pose and idea, not to look perfect.
Drawing the rib cage gives us an idea where the person is turned. We can bend our characters so they will
look more natural. We can also tilt the shoulders and hips to make it look special. To draw the proportions
correct, we should use the 7 head principle. To shade better, we can choose different types of pencils. The
hardness of the pencil core is important. It is good to practice shading by doing greyscales.

New vocabulary (at least 10 new words; not needed if you are practicing grammar): modifications

to get more definition
