CHAPTER 4

RESULT AND DISCUSSION

This chapter presents the results and discussions gathered and presented aligned with the

system development cycle in this research.

4.1 Requirement Analysis

Functional Requirements

The functional requirements of each user involved in this system are shown in Table 4.1 for

Admin and Table 4.2 for the In Charge and Table 4.3 for Student. These tables show the list of

functional requirements for each user together with the Requirement name and its brief

description.

Table 4.1 Functional Requirement for Admin

Login Admin needs to input username and password in order to

access the system.

Add Student Account The system shall allow the admin to add new user who is not

yet registered.

View Student List The system shall allow the admin to view the list of students.

Add In Charge Account The system shall allow the admin to add new department in charge.

View List of In charge The system shall allow the admin to view the list of department in charges.
Add tickets The system shall allow the admin to add tickets.

View Ticket of Student The system shall allow the admin to view the message sent by

the student.

The table 4.1 shows the functional requirements for the Admin. Login requirement shall allow

the Admin to input log-in credentials such as their username and password in order to gain

access to the system. In the function Add Student User, the system shall allow the
admin to add new user who is not yet registered. The admin can view the list of students.

Add in charge user function allows the admin to add new department in charge. In the

function View Ticket of Student, the system shall allow the admin to view and reply to

messages sent by each students. The system shall allow the admin to add tickets.

students.

The table 4.2 shows the functional requirements for the Student. Login requirement shall allow

the Student to input username and password in order to gain access to the system. In the

function manage profile, the system shall allow the student to view and edit their profiles.

While the Add ticket function allows the student to create message including the subject to

their message and select departments whom they’ll send their message. The system shall also

allow the student to view their lists of submitted tickets, including the date, subject and

description of it. Lastly, the system shall allow the student to create comments and reply to

messages.
