In my opinion, in storing archives or documents in physical form, it can be done with
archive restoration. Archival restoration makes the document can be used for a longer
time than its original usage period. Another way that you can apply to prevent archive
damage is to use air conditioning (AC) to keep the room temperature stable. With a
controlled room temperature, humidity that can cause mold on paper documents can be
prevented. For archive security, archives can be formatted into electronic archives by
uploading all important documents to an online-based storage system known as cloud
storage. By utilizing this method, you can store digital data on a centralized server which
is certainly more secure.

It seems to me, you can simply archive your paper files by filing them away in a secure
filing cabinet or you can choose to use an off-site storage provider to create space. An
off-site storage facility is the better option for storing long-term hard copies or for files
that are not needed often. A secure facility ensures your files don't fall into the wrong
hands and are protected from fire/flood damage. This is a popular option for large
businesses that need to maintain a paper trail of non-mission-critical documents. besides
that, you can store archives electronically using USB flash drives, and memory cards are
all examples of flash storage, but are they good for archiving data? They can be, but it's
not very cost-effective. The long-term retention abilities of flash storage aren't quite as
well-known as it is for hard drives, since flash storage hasn't been around as long.
However, I've had USB flash drives continue to work perfectly after 10+ years, so the
potential is definitely there. Where flash storage gets really interesting for archival use
with its robustness and size. Since flash storage uses no moving parts, you don't have to
treat it as delicately as a hard drive. Furthermore, you can fit quite a bit of data on a
physically tiny flash drive with 512GB and even 1TB flash drives.

In my opinion, various ways can be done to keep archives in good condition and
maintained, such things as storing archives in a strong storage area to protect from danger
and of course staying in a maintained temperature condition, because if the room
temperature is unstable it will have an impact on damage to that archive. While the
security of the archive room is also very necessary considering the archive is an
important document that must be maintained and not everyone can see the archive, it is
necessary to take more care for the room, so that the archive can be maintained properly
and safely.
- Magenta Tiyo
In my opinion, the best way to store archives is to examine whether documents are
allowed to be stored. then add custom code. The goal is to make it easier to store while at
the same time find it back when needed. then the document must be sorted. Each
document or letter is separated according to the problem, need and purpose. Sorting will
make the archive space more neatly organized. while the way to secure archives is by
controlling. control is aimed at the officers themselves, namely so as not to be careless in
handling archives. Disciplined so that officers or anyone who enters the archive storage
room is prohibited from bringing goods or food that can cause insects or animals to come,
causing damage to the archive
- Pundy Fadylan
In my opinion, in the development of archive management, archival practitioners of
course really understand the importance of an archive. Not only seen from the physical
form, but from the side of the information contained in the archive. This is what spurs
archival practitioners to always look for appropriate and efficient management patterns to
be able to manage these archives. Records management is not only limited to storage
security, but also leads to placement management, so that it will simplify the archive
retrieval process if one day the archive is needed by the user.
Currently, archiving practitioners have switched from conventional storage media in the
form of physical (hard copy) to electronic media (soft copy), this is done because of
efficiency considerations.

In my opinion, the way to store and maintain archives is to provide a special room that
can provide the ideal air temperature, bright not because of the sun, and away from
insects, fire, and water. In addition, using materials to prevent archive damage such as
camphor and also spraying with chemicals on a regular basis. Employees or archive
officers must also follow the rules before entering the archive storage room, such as not
bringing food and drinks into the room. To prevent archive security and confidentiality,
the archive storage room must have a finger lock that can only be accessed by officers
and also duplicate each archive so that they can always back up damaged or lost archives.
Finally, make sure the archive room is always kept clean.
